I woke up and couldn't sleep at 3am this morning, so instead of just lying there and hoping for sleep I ended up going to the gym extra early. I was surprised to see a few people there at 4.
Nothing spectacular today since it is technically an off day (from Smolov at least). Basically did a pull workout with stepmill.
This may turn out to be a very looooong day....

Hey Clement, my back is not good. I'm to do squats today, but I think I made the right decision in skipping out on them. My back is very sore. Not happy.
Because of the back, Smolov was relegated to incline press only - 10x3x275.
Followed this up with Pull Up (8x10) and Pec Dec (6x10).
Once again I left this workout feeling rather disappointed.
Good news that it is Friday, and also Arnold Weekend and the Oscars. Who's winning?Team General Mills

Pec Dec - 5x10
Pull Up - 6x10
HIIT - 15 min
Uh...it's March right. Why did it snow last night?

I hope you get a favourable diagnosis.
My back is so tight. Any type of bend at the waist or even a simple squat produces pain. Not happy...
These guys are right on the money Mo. You have great structure; a great place to start from. These pics will be invaluable when it comes to monitoring progress.
Did a little back, biceps and triceps this morning. Nothing drastic just high rep work. Followed this up with Stepmill. Most likely I'll do some more lifting and cardio after work.
Why is it so cold still? It's March, right???Team General Mills

Since I haven't trained legs in about a week because of the bad back, no squats situation, I decided that I needed to hit them somehow. Started slow with some extensions and curls, then actually did some front squats. I went suped light and did nice, controlled and slow reps. Back felt okay and I survived, so a relative success I guess.
Followed this up with Stepmill, because it's just so much fun...Team General Mills

Damn, V...that back is still jacked up? That sucks, brother.
You seem to be maneuvering decent workouts around it though.
And I'll third it...FU*K THIS WINTER!!!

Currently at 200C / 270P / 35F - around 2160 calories.
I had gotten down to 216.5lbs with this, but it's climbed back to 220-221 in the last 2-3 weeks. Not sure why. I hate the fact that I outweigh so many of you but eat so much less. Really frustrating.
Back sucks and so does this winter. Enough already...Team General Mills
