A little birdie tells me a different story. Show off a true championship physique.

The fam is good, the boys are keeping us young....or aging us prematurely. Depends on the day, lol

Got up at my usual time. Got ready and downed my pre-workout per usual. Then proceeded to plop down onto the couch to watch Olympics instead of training. Yeah....I suck...

OBF Prep Week 4, Day 29

    AM Weight
    N/A

    Cardio
    30 min run/walk

    Macros
    130P/150C/40F

    Recap
Cardio only today. After 4 days in a row, I decided a break from lifting might be a good idea - AND my back is killing me still after those heavy deadlifts. I hope I didn't break something lol

    OBF Prep, Day 30

    AM Weight
--Something odd is going on here lol

    Cardio
    30 min run/walk pre WO

    Training
Killed a wicked upper power session. My shoulder felt great today so I could really focus on heavy benching and dips. My back is 50% better -- I took it easy and stuck with supported movements for now.

Tomorrow I get to sleep all day, and then start night shifts again. Now, to figure out how to watch Netflix @ work.....

Nice stuff Mo. You've got a great structure. Once you're ripped...lights out!

Back and abs yesterday, nothing spectacular. This morning is was back to the fun stuff:

    Smolov Week 1, Day 3
    (Work sets only)

    Incline Press - 7x5x245

    Squat - 7x5x305

Did some delts and biceps between sets, just for fun.

My lower back was sore from yesterday, so admittedly the squats felt heavier than they should have. At least I got it all in.

Now about this crazy weight gai. I've had a 5lb swing in the past week and a half. More cardio I guess....

I think you may have bigger arms than I do lol. Get em, Mo!!!

As for help with the posing selfies, there's a great, and free, app called "TimerCam" and it works solid. It has a 5, 10, or 15sec delay for the shutter. Helped me a ton.

We are similar in this way, so the only thing to do is keep plugging away until we reach our goals. It's not like we're going to quite...we don't do that! Rippedville here we come...

Smolov Jr - Week 1, Workout 3 (work sets only)

    Incline Press - 8x4x255

    Squat - 8x4x315

Beyond this did some Pec Dec, Pull Up, Leg Extension & Curls.

The bad news is that I hurt my back. It is so sore and tender now. I don't know if I'll be able to squat in a couple of days. Made me feel a little indifferent about the workout. You know that feeling afterwards when you feel great, feel like you killed it. I left this one feeling sore and defeated. Just didn't have the pop to the lifts. I blame the Stepmill.... lol.

The good news is that it's Hump Day.

Smolov will be nearly impossible to complete injured. Make an honest judgement of if your hurt or just sore, and go from there!! Good luck V!

Rob, so sorry about your back! I am just getting over a back injury myself.... that's totally my fault though as I did heavy deadlifts without my belt. BadMo
