This, Alcohol is full of calories, but have very little actual nutrition in them. I LOVE my vodka, one standard is around 60 cal.
If i go out with mates for a drink, i make sure i know exactly how much i am going to drink (eg 5 standards of vodka) and adjust my diet to allow for that extra 300 cal

as long as you factor it into your diet, theres no reason you cant have alcohol

in saying that tho, 300 cal worth of chicken is much better for you then 300 cal of nutrition-less alcohol

Drinking once every weekend is completely fine.. that being said, don't drink to the point to where you're passing out with hangovers the next day. Also, hydration is key! Make sure to drink large amounts of water during and after you drink alcohol

Everything in moderation OP. Of course drinking is going to have an effect on your training, but if you keep your diet in check you should be okay. youre 16 you have the rest of hs and then college ahead of you, you're obviously going to be drinking. As long as you keep your priorities in line with regards to bodybuilding/fitness/etc. dont worry.

I'm shredded and I've gotten smashed the past three weekends. Moderation is key though, I'm layin off of it for a few weeks. For those who are against it, lighten up and have some fun. It hasn't changed how I looked at all just be smart about it. Some of the best stories in college you experience will involve alcohol don't miss out on an epic night with the bros because you are a pussy.
