Did you ever stop to think about what food dye could be doing to your body? The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI), summarizes that many commonly used food dyes may be linked to cancer. "The three most widely used dyes, Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6, are contaminated with known carcinogens … Another dye, Red 3, has been acknowledged for years by the Food and Drug Administration to be a carcinogen, yet is still in the food supply." They reported this in their 58 page report; Food Dies: A Rainbow of Risks.
If you're into working out, which if you're reading this I'm guessing you are, carcinogens enter your body during exercise. The more carcinogens you take in, the higher your risk of cancer. Why would you increase this risk by loading your body with more of those harmful chemicals.
My point being is, why not look to supplements that work and don't use these carcinogen filled chemicals? One such supplement is Stacked BCAA's by Athletic Xtreme. Delicious berry taste but no artificial coloring. That's just one example, but I would highly recommend looking for supplements that limit you uptake of such harmful free radicals.
