sorry to hear...hernias are a huge pain in the ass. i suffered a couple herniated disks a few years ago and i still have back problems to this day.

I've had a number of buddies get injured and still found away to workout. But one of go gerrny belts that helps support your lower back and abs.

I would not recommend taking off fully. Even if you just do cardio. Something is better than nothing and once you have surgery you're recovery should be easy active recovery ftw

Most of the time you can use a recumbent bike to keep your legs strong and fat off your ass. Pretty much anything you do involving lifting any weight has the potential to fuk you up. You definitely want to check with your doc about the specifics of your condition though. I've never had one personally but have watched a couple of buddies deal with them.

If your unhappy in a relationship get out. I realize being married is a totally dif story & personally I think you should try everything before walking away including counseling. Often times we see in others things that are really about us. You just have to look deep inside & sometimes it hurts & painful as hell

I'm 35, was married for 8 years right outta high school. Over time became very unhappy. We both tried to make it work but he was overly controlling & didn't want kids. We separated then tried again how we nothing changed. I up to this point had never lived alone or paid a bill he took care of everything. But we split up & I was forced to do it all on my own. Talk about growing up fast but I DID it & I became a better person.

Fast forward to 2011-2012 & I met a guy who pretty much used me for money. I basically took care of him, sold everything I had, moved in with him,etc. he was abusive to me both physically & mentally but bottom line I got out. December 29,2012 I walked out of that SOB life & I had absolutely nothing! I moved myself into an apartment with no furniture. All I had was a tv & a twin mattress from my parents. I had huge credit card bills that he had run up in my name too. MY LIFE & HAPPINESS WAS SO MUCH MORE IMPORTANT.

Now I'm happily married to TJB85. You just never know what will happen when you finally decide to take that step & make that scariest step ever. Take a leap of faith.

there is almost no exercise that would not have you use some kind of abdominal pressure when performing it. the kind of weight/reps you could do for anything would not be beneficial. Your doc would probably be against doing any type of exercise other than walking.

I have never had any injury as serious as a hernia *knock on wood* but the few strains and sprains i have had would have probably been quicker to heal if i just sat on my ass and healed for a week or 2. instead I extended the injury a ended up taking 3-4 weeks off insead
