Bent over row-One armed dumbell vs barbell

Just wondering which people prefer-I like to use a bench and do one armed dumbell rows but I'm thinking about using a barbell.

Loaded question. They aren't the same exercise at all. In terms of what Barbell rows achieve, it's like comparing free-weight squats to Smith. In terms of what DB rows achieve, it's like comparing seated overhead bench to standing over-head press.

I use both. Both hit different angles.

Whichever feels best. My favorite is lying on an incline bench stomach down, and rowing two DBs simultaneously. Gotta play with the rowing pattern to feel it right, but when you get dat proper scoop type motion it hits Lats hard
