You really are so wrong.
1 no ones going to invade UK/America/Europe because theres no point these days
2 Every country has nukes so every ones at a stalemate unless every ones wants them things going around like rain drops
3 Pretty sure the UK is one of the biggest gun distributors in the world
4 We dont need guns, you are safe in pretty much any where in the UK apart from some **** holes in London/Birmingham/Manchester ect... We havent locked the doors in my house for the 17 years we've been living here n guess what we are all still alive.

I'm really not. I'm a pretty relaxed person who lives a pretty relaxed life. As I said there are pros and cons to different places. I just don't feel the need to bang on about how one place is superior because they do, or don't allow guns. I certainly wouldn't get angry about it either.

Lol your military is what 200,000 soldiers if you really think that the UK is going to hold off an invasion with this then you are a fool and you'll be quickly relying on the 1.4 million soldiers of the US not counting the other countries mentioned.
1. Armchair General do tell me more of how there is no point to war these days as they still continue around the world..
2. You are familiar with the war games of the world and nuclear storms, I'd like to hear more on this also
3. The UK accounts for less than 5% of the gun market so what's your point?
4. This hasn't been discussed previously. Every country has nice areas and slums, doors remain unlocked and locked accordingly.Military Crew

I haven't done anything wrong, nor would I. Why should I be distrusted and outlawed by default to have guns? The reason I own guns is 1. To defend myself, and 2. Sport shooting, neither is a reason for denying me ownership.
The argument that weak restrictions on gun laws allows guns to end up in the hands of criminals doesn't hold water. The war of drugs completely outlaws drugs (versus guns that are regulated/restricted/waiting periods/applications/permits etc), but that hasn't slowed the supply at all. Economics says that when something is made illegal a black market is created. Supply and demand still pertain, just changed by the additional forces upon it.
If I could be shown proof that no person with il intent could ever get a hold of a gun, I would never had paid money for guns. I'd rather spend my money on other things. But you can't uninvent something. And until we get to a society like Demolition Man where murders don't happen, people need the ability to defend themselves. Especially women where a gun is the only equalizer.- root console

The problem with american justice slash imprisonment system is that it is all privately funded and operated. Sorta like the federal reserve. We use to have blue seals on our bills equal to the amount of gold or silver I forget. Now we just print a piece of paper and is worth nothing but faith.
Can't wait till we go back to the barter system.

The UK has enough nuclear weapons on submarines to leave a hole where a country previously was, and that includes every populated area in the US. That's probably more of a detterent than civilians with hand guns, shotguns and single shot rifles.
Also not sure if srs on economy, 6th largest economy IIRC and 4th highest defence spending. You are dumb mate, and I don't say that to be offensive, it's the cold hard truth.Last edited by Ronnie87; 01-22-2014 at 08:52 AM.

I don't know that we have it right.
I would like to see people taken out back and a shot to the back of the head after a undoubtedly being convicted of murders like killing a bunch of strangers, killing kids, killing and raping a woman during a home invasion.
You guys know what I mean.
I don't care if it overall worse for them to sit in a cell for the rest of their lives while they think about what they did and "discover god", and apologize.
These people just need to be eradicated.
Sorry about spelling or grammar no time to proof.Pigs get feed. Hogs get slaughtered.

We don't have it right. We just have it much less-wrong than the UK.
A whole bunch of things that are crimes shouldn't be, including felonies and things that can get your years in prison. Shouldn't even be illegal.
And a whole bunch of violent criminals get back out on the street when they should never see the light of day again. And in some cases, as you say, they shouldn't draw another breath.

I'm not sure why everyone automatically assumes that if a country is invaded or attacked it's straight on nuke time. It's a big pill for a leader to swallow having to fire any nukes into another country knowing it's going to kill millions of innocent people (and we are the ones that are taught killing is okay? riiiightt) and is going to be the most restrained option used in warfare. You're comparing apples to oranges, nuclear warheads in this day and age are used to counterattack against a country that is using the same.
