A man born with schizophrenia, a mental disorder of the brain, gets diagnosed and goes on treatment. We hope to one day find a cure.
A man born with three legs, a physical disorder of cellular division, gets diagnosed and has it amputated. We hope he can live a normal life.
A man born with a sexual desire for men, instead of women, a mental disorder of the sexual reproductive system, liberals label him a special class of people and we don't treat it at all. No cure is searched for and we allow the disorder to infect our culture.

"[..] research has shown that homosexuality is an example of a normal and natural variation in human sexuality and is not in and of itself a source of negative psychological effects."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexuality
Giving this information above, your first comparison is not accurate and correct. The second one implies that the leg needs to be amputated in order to live a normal life, but a homosexual can lead a perfectly normal life in our society, so this comparison isn't so well matched either.
Replace the third leg with a port-wine stain and your point would at least make a little bit more sense.

Quoting wikipedia? And research has NOT shown that it is a normal variation. That is a flat out lie. Scientists still have no idea what causes homosexuality, from a biological standpoint.
To quote from a Slate article :
As researchers draw closer to uncovering an explanation, however, a new question has arisen: What if in some cases sexuality is caused by an identifiable chemical process in the womb? What if, in other words, homosexuality can potentially be prevented? That is one implication of one of the most widely accepted hypotheses thus far proposed. And if it’s true, it could turn out to be a blow for the gay rights movement.
Some of the strongest current evidence that some people are born gay is based on a phenomenon called the fraternal birth order effect. Several peer-reviewed studies have shown that men with older biological brothers are likelier to be gay than men with older sisters or no older siblings. The likelihood of being gay increases by about 33 percent with each additional older brother. From these statistics, researchers calculate that about 15 to 30 percent of gay men have the fraternal birth order effect to thank for their homosexuality.
No, he can't.
Gay men have a long list of health risks and dangers, that straight men do not have, simply because men are not designed/evolved to have sex with men.
Here is what webmd says about anal sex, something that 91% of all gay men do regularly :
Is Anal Sex Safe?
There are a number of health risks with anal sex, and anal intercourse is the riskiest form of sexual activity for several reasons, including the following:
The anus lacks the natural lubrication the vagina has. Penetration can tear the tissue inside the anus, allowing bacteria and viruses to enter the bloodstream. This can result in the spread of sexually transmitted infections including HIV. Studies have suggested that anal exposure to HIV poses 30 times more risk for the receptive partner than vaginal exposure. Exposure to the human papillomavirus (HPV) may also lead to the development of anal warts and anal cancer. Using lubricants can help some, but doesn't completely prevent tearing.
The tissue inside the anus is not as well protected as the skin outside the anus. Our external tissue has layers of dead cells that serve as a protective barrier against infection. The tissue inside the anus does not have this natural protection, which leaves it vulnerable to tearing and the spread of infection.
The anus was designed to hold in feces. The anus is surrounded with a ring-like muscle, called the anal sphincter, which tightens after we defecate. When the muscle is tight, anal penetration can be painful and difficult. Repetitive anal sex may lead to weakening of the anal sphincter, making it difficult to hold in feces until you can get to the toilet. However, Kegel exercises to strengthen the sphincter may help prevent this problem or correct it.
The anus is full of bacteria. Even if both partners do not have a sexually-transmitted infection or disease, bacteria normally in the anus can potentially infect the giving partner. Practicing vaginal sex after anal sex can also lead to vaginal and urinary tract infections.
Anal sex can carry other risks as well. Oral contact with the anus can put both partners at risk for hepatitis, herpes, HPV, and other infections. For heterosexual couples, pregnancy can occur if semen is deposited near the opening to the vagina."Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me." - Psalm 23

Yes, because scientists have not yet found the cause for it. So for ANYONE to come out and say "it's normal", is flat out lying and based on political agenda's.

The general consensus it that the cause mostly lies in genetic factors. From there on, people research further. Studies that imply that it's a natural variation, don't imply that there can't be other possible outside causes and influences. You don't seem to understand how think works.
Homosexuals practice unsafe sexual behavior because they have no other choice.
Heterosexuals choose to have buttsex, blowjobs and unnecessary sexual activity. Why not ban those three?
In fact, we could right now impose a ban on all kinds of sexual behavior in certain areas where artificial insemination is affordable and possible.
They use the anus for intercourse. It was not designed/evolved for this purpose. The vagina was. Thus, vaginal intercourse is NOT considered "the most dangerous sexual activity" like anal sex is.
This whole argument is based on religious fundamentalist dogma's, prejudices, generalization, assumptions or misrepresentations of facts. If would have said from the beginning you don't accept homosexuality because god said so, we wouldn't have any argument right now.Last edited by Keseff; 01-18-2014 at 05:39 PM.

Sick of the constant hypocrisy from the west, especially with regards to Russia.
brb sluts desecrate church in Russia and are put in jail and the west says free these heroic freedom fighters.
brb man throws ham at mosque in UK and gets jail

and round and round the wheel of **** goes, where it stops nobody knows.

In order for something to be a disorder, it needs to have a negative impact on the quality of life of the individual or those around them.
Homosexuality doesn't negatively affect you unless you're one of those people that care about what adults do with their sex lives. Or you're a gay person in an intolerant part of the country or world.

People who argue against things because they aren't normal are literally the intellectual scum of the world. How does it feel to drag your knuckles and grunt like an ape because you are too stupid to make independent valuations and rely on fitting into a herd like barnyard animals. Your consciousness and your experience of life is ****ing pathetic. Your time would be better spent watching reality TV and not having opinions until your sad ****ing brains stop producing idiotic justifications for your prejudices and intolerance

Hey guys, here is a textbook example of a liberal and advocate for the gay agenda who is clearly getting upset that he is seeing so much resistance. The attempt to shame everyone into agreement and throw around accusations of stupidity is nothing more than a cry for social validation. Like most liberals, he actually has very little understanding of the subject matter, and instead resorts to regurgitated statements and wild protest in an appeal to your emotions.
Bottom line is, Russian policy is dictated by the majority, not the minority. The way it damn well should be.

Here is a textbook example of an intellectual midget who sees the world in a simplistic, black and white terms. Congratulations on making a bunch of pathetic inferences and deductions, all of which are wrong. My posting history reflects a clear and consistent individual rights approach, which sometimes works in favor of the so-called "gay agenda" and sometimes does not. When it comes to equal treatment under the law and government discrimination, I'm on their side for those issues. When it comes to protected class status, forcing people to shut down cake shops, forcing religious people to provide them with ceremonies or anything that violates our system of constitutional rights, I'm vehemently against them.
I'm mostly libertarian, which I'm pretty sure falls under the more extremist conservative positions. The fact that you blindly want the majority to dictate the lifestyles of others without concern for individual rights or protections for minority groups furthers my sentiment that you people are intellectual scum who resort to the lowest common denominator of appealing to normality or popularity as if that should be the determining factor in every matter.not srs
