    Current Cutting Meal Plan - Review/Opinions Please.

    I am 5'11 96kgs at 15% bf my maintenance calories are at 2216 cals.

    Here is the meal plan i will be following all out for 12 weeks. I will be starting off with a deficit of around 300 cals and i will adjust accordingly along the way.

    Meal 1 (Breakfast 5:15am) Calories Carbs Fat Protein
    Tesco - Strawberry and Yogurt Crisp Cereal, 50 g 220 34 7 4
    Generic - Milk 1.5%, 300 ml 135 14 5 10
    Total 355 48 12 14

    WORKOUT (6.30-7.30)

    Meal 2 (Shake 7:30am)
    Muscletech - Phase 8 Chocolate Whey , 1 scoop (42g) 150 7 2 26
    Generic - Milk 1.5%, 400 ml 180 19 6 14
    Banana - Medium 6", 1 Banana (101g) 90 23 1 1

    Meal 3 (Snack 10:30am)

    For someone at 211lbs, 1900 calories is stupid low. Especially since (I presume from your profile pic) you play rugby.

    I would start again with your calorie estimation from the sticky in this forum, being sure to factor in your activity factor.

    I agree. At 175 I was cutting at like 2000 calories if I remember right. Fats a bit low here too op

    Your right about me not factoring in any activities. I had a Dexa scan done last week and my results put me at 2200 cals maintenance (no activity) with the metabolism of a 40 year old lol

    Worked it out to be around 3500, So il drop down to around 3000 and re work my meal plan and see how i get on...... Thanks again guys.

    If you TDEE is estimated at 3500 I would go for 3200 for now and readjust from there.

    I think most people agree it's better to decrease by a % and not a standard number.

    10-20% deficit for a cut so..

    3500 x .8 = 2800 (faster cut)

    3500 x .9 = 3150 (slower cut, allegedly less muscle loss)

    Yea, you're almost in the range.
