Thanks to AllGenetix and Core Nutritionals for allowing me to log their new flavor of Core Fury. Cherry Lemonade.
I've been wanting to try this for a while and I've heard nothing but good things. No prop belnd, which is great, and healthy doses of ingredients. 200mg of caffeine as well which will allow me to play with the dosage a little.
About me: I'm 33 years old. 5'8" 175 lbs at the moment. I've been lifting seriously again for about 7-8 months now and have made it a part of my life instead of just a hobby. I'm bulking right now and will probably continue for about 2 more months before I decide to cut.
I've used quite a bit of pre workouts and usually have about 4-5 at any given time and usually rotate between them so that I don't build tolerance. Even then I am very stim tolerant even coming off of stim breaks. I don't really drink any other caffeine other than pre workouts but the stims usually don't hit me too hard. I enjoy pre workouts more for clean energy, endurance, and some decent pumps.
Workout plan:
I did 5/3/1 for about 4 months and then I switched to a volume program for about 3 months. Both worked pretty decent for me but now I'm going to switch to a upper/lower strength/hypertrophy program that I've modified to what will work best for me. Typically I can only work legs once a week because of a knee issue that needs more time to recover after squats.
Ok so day 1 was yesterday January 13. I took 1 scoop of Cory Fury with 8 oz of cold water in a blender bottle. I was a little surprised that it was white as I was expecting a red liquid. It mixed very easily. No residue at the bottom. First impression of taste was not what I expected. I was expecting more of a cherry limeade taste but it wasn't really like that at all. If I had to compare it to anything else I would say it was more like a White Cherry Powerade with a hint of lemonade flavor. It was pretty good. I downed it about 20 minutes before the gym.
It didn't hit me hard as I stated I'm stim tolerant but I felt good. VEry motivated to be in the gym.
The workout:
Legs:
Squats : 4x6 185lbs, 1x5 205lbs
Leg Press: 270lbs 5x5
Leg Extension 3x10 140 lbs
Sitting Leg Curls 3x8 120lbs
Calf Raisers 4x25 150 lbs
It was a pretty solid leg day for me. Unfortunately I can't squat nearly as heavy as I used to because of my knee but hoping to slowly build it back up to at least close to where I was (365).
I felt good though. Endurance was no issue at all which is my main thing I look for in a pre workout.
I can't wait to get deep into this log as I think I'm really going to enjoy Core Fury. I'm looking to break quite a bit of PR's before I start cuting. I think it's definitely a possibility if I can increase my weight back up to 180 or above like I was not too long ago.

Core Fury Log Jan 14
Today I upped the dosage of Core Fury to 1.5 scoops in 10oz cold water. Taste was a little stronger and more pronounced. I think I liked it a little more yesterday so I will probably up the water to 12oz when using more than 1 scoop.
My legs are pretty sore from the day before but overall I felt really energized this morning. I took Core Fury about 25 minutes before the gym and by the time I got there and warmed up I was amped and ready to go. Felt like this:
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=36OHZ51o2qo
LOL a little throwback video from my days as a wrestling fan
The workout:
Upper Body Strength
Flat Bench: 5x5 185lbs
Incline Machine Bench: 4x8 220,230,240,250
DB Shoulder Press 4x8 50lbs
DB Row/Rev Fly 4x8 35,35,35,40
Pull ups 3x8 Bodyweight
Lat Pull Down 4x8 130, 140,150,150
DB Back Row 4x8 65lbs
Close Grip Bench 3x8 135lbs
Tricep Pushdown Machine 3x10 150lbs
Reverse Chinup 3x5 Bodyweight
Hammer Curls 3x8 40lbs
Endurance was pretty great today. I didn't actually plan on doing as much volume as I did really but my strength was pretty off today. I wanted to actually go for 205 on bench which would match my PR but I felt pretty quickly my strength was off so I made up for it with a little more volume.
Notes** First 2 days of Core Fury noticed no jittery feeling, no stomach issues, no crash.

Core Fury Log 1/21/14
Ok so I've been out for around a week. I suffered bruised ribs playing basketball and have not been able to train. They're still painful but don't want to sit out any longer. I'm going to ease back into it and see what I can do.
Took 1 scoop of Core Fury today. Energy was really good and have missed the gym! Wanted to hit it hard but will take precaution over the next couple of days .
Leg Day
Squats
5x5 185lbs
Calf raises
3x25 140lbs
Leg extensions
3x15 120lbs
Took it very light today. Could have had more weight and volume for sure. Squats really didn't cause any additional pain to my ribs so that's good. Tomorrow will be more of a test. It's supposed to be my heavy upper body day. My main concern is stuff like shoulder press. MAy have to improvise on a few exercises. Still going to push it as hard as my body will allow

Yeah man it's tough because I definitely have the energy but as I've gotten older I've learned that I need to listen to my body. Things just don't heal the same way lol. Core Fury is awesome man. I'm definitely going to go for some PR's in this log. I have some interesting things planned as soon as I heal up 100%.
I would say that endurance is at the top of the list followed by pump, aggressiveness, energy, and focus but no real weaknesses at all

Core Fury Log 1/22/14
Two scoops Core Fury baby!! Woooo!! The energy, the pumps!!!! Ribs were still tender so it's tough to hold back but don't want to cause more damage.

Machine Incline 3x8 180,190,205
DB shoulder press 3x6 55 lbs
DB shoulder rows 3x8 55lbs

Core Fury Log 1/24/14
1.5 scoops of Core Fury today. Energy is pretty off today. Work has been crazy and stressful as of late and sleep hasn't been up to par. Nonetheless Core Fury made my training pretty solid today. Very focused today.
Leg Day
Squats
5x5 185,195,205,225,235
Calf raises with barbell
4x20 185lbs
Leg extensions
3x10 120lbs
Hip abductors in and out
3x10 each way 120 lbs
Leg Curls
3x10 110 lbs
Joint pain in my left knee was acting up today but still was able to put up decent squat numbers compared to where I've been lately. When I was younger with no knee issues I was squatting 365 but the last few years I've been topping out at about 245 area so I feel I can smash that soon. I'm really trying to address my knee issues and I want to get back over 300 at least.

The last few days have been pretty crazy for me. I had to drive out of town for work and wasn't able to hit the gym at all. I took my pull up bar, medicine ball, and some bands to work out in my hotel so I was doing roughly about
100 push-ups, 50 pull ups, med ball push ups, and a couple different exercises with the bands.
I was working from 830am to 10pm and eating nothing but fast food so it was exhausting and Felt like crap from all the fast food but I took my Core Fury with me and that actually helped me get through my days .
I'm back now and will get back to my normal routine tomorrow. I plan to go for some PRs next week.

Super Bowl Sunday Log Feb 2 2014
Feels good to get back to my normal diet and training. I don't mind fast food occasionally but all day every day was killing me.
Took 2 scoops of Core Fury today in 14 oz water. Still liking the taste a lot. My body still isn't quite recovered from my trip but overall I feel pretty good.
Legs
Squats
185x8, 195x6, 215x4, 225x3, 245x1
Leg Press
180x10, 230x6, 270x6
Leg Extensions
120x10, 130x8, 140x6
Not bad today. My knees felt ok. I final set of squats was a little rough on it but can't complain too much. My knees are seemingly able to adjust to more weight much better lately.

Ok so lately I had been just completely drained and burnt out. I think it was a combination of waking up at 5am, working 12 hours lately, and family life. My workouts were suffering. I took a little time off and also did a one week deload. Back in the gym today full force and what a difference it made. I hated that I had to take some time off in my log but I think without being able to give 100% I wasn't doing Core Fury justice.
Chest and Tricep
Flat Bench 10x135, 6x185, 5x195, 4x205, 3x215, 2x215, 2x205, 4x195, 4x185, 10x135
215 ties a PR for me. I probably could have done 225 but wasn't too confident without a spotter.
DB incline 4x8 65,65,65,70
BW Dips 4x8
Lower cable crossovers 4x8 70lbs
Close grip bench 4x10 155lbs
Tricep Pushdown 4x12 150lbs
Rope push down 4x10 70 lbs
I took 2 scoops of Core Fury about 20 minutes before the workout and oh man, this was one of the best workouts I've ever had. My intensity was awesome and felt great!
No more time off during the log. I feel refreshed and ready to finish it out on fire. The great thing is my weight is going up and my diet has been solid. I'm about 182 now and plan on bulking until the end of March. I'd like to get up to at least 186 then start my cut.
