Dunno why everyone is hating on tonight's episode. I thought it was good. Best episode so far in fact. It's a slow burn *******s. Had a good creep factor overall.

uhhhhh yeah? They spelled it out in big rainbow block letters. We all knew he was gay before anyway. Ain't nobody serve in Brokeback Mountain without getting their angus checked.

I'm dropping this show after watching tonight's episode... I thought the show started rough, and a bit slow, but the last half of ep 1 was great. Episode 2 was a dull slog, and ep 3 was much the same. The show is just too depressing. There's nothing to counterbalance the darkness. In season 1 we had the humor, the back and forth between marty and rust, as well as the beautiful daytime scenery of the bayou. This season is all darkness. There are also some legit cringe moments in the show. Example is V. Vaughn in his boxing stance. The whole fight scene came out of nowhere and seemed out of place. I guess Vaughn's character is a LHW UFC contender.

I wanted to love this show... bye T.D., until next year

In EP 1 he called Velcoro told him no sirens come alone etc at the start, something I wouldn't think would be done if one of your missing persons turned up dead.

Uninteresting characters. Cringe-worthy writing. Lame acting. Untalented cinematography. Poor direction. A plot that tries to be complex and ends up being just messy and unfocused, not to forget unoriginal and clichéd (the alcoholic violent cop, the Russian bed guys, the corrupt police chief, the tough and attractive female cop, the shady businessmen, the mobsters - how many times have we seen this?). Miscast actors/actresses. Cringeworthy acting. Stupid cliffhangers.

Every element is there: it's officially one of the worst shows ever. It's as bad as it gets.

HBO should not make a season 3.

They should never have tried a season 2 - they should have just preserved the memory of Season 1, an infinitely better show.

Chances are that I'll drop it all together and never watch S2E4.

VV got that limp dik. This show is a struggle to watch, something I never had in season 1. Really hoping it picks up a bit.

You're being more critical than I am (I'm probably a bit blinded by my fanboyism for season 1) but i'm glad I'm not alone. Reading reddit, it seems like 98% of viewers just LOOOVE this season... I really wasn't feeling it, other than the last 20 mins of episode 1. Your criticism is all valid. I've realized there are too many good shows, and not enough time in the day to keep watching a show that isn't great

Last night's episode seemed a little weak and disjointed to me. The fight with vince vaughns character seemed unrealistic and unnecessary. And not much seemed to happen. Hopefully they pick it up next episode.

I think they wanted to establish his role as being a bad ass. I thought the fight scene was a little weird as the head of crime organizations dont need to be physical studs they just need to be super smart or super wealthy. Not sure if he his either of those just yet. But I think Vince is doing fine with the role hes been given.

Too many *******s in here complaining about the show sucking, its not that bad, tell me you honestly thought it was gonna live up to season 1, ok.jpg. It should be living up to your expectation, better than average, not as GOAT as season 1. You know you're gonna keep watching stop pretending its so bad its unwatchable.



I think the mayor is involved heavily and knows whats going on, he was the only one VV seemed to have to answer to so far, has connections with the feds (you could tell from his office at home), and I think his son could be the guy who was driving the caddy and blew it up. He also clearly wanted Velcoro on the case, as someone he can manage and direct in his own favor, as well as trying to steer Mcadams away it. I'm definitely interested to see where things go from here.


I still like the highway scenes to me they represent how all this is tangled up and paths are crossing in ways the characters don't know yet. Like Vince and the **** cop bumping into each other, Farrel and Mcadams being put on the case as "puppets" and starting to like each other, going against their bosses. I for one am definitely a fan of this season and want to see how this all unfolds.

It wasn't his acting that bothered me is was the awkward fist fight. That's the last thing a mob boss would do. It just didn't fit. Would've been more realistic if he caught him off guard and just pummelled him instead of squaring off in a boxing match.

I knew it wouldn't be Season 1, but I didn't think I would be watching an R rated Law and Order

ok so i have been with the let the show play out crew and i did like the first 2 eps a lot but last night was bad.
