Thanks! I hope so too. He is pretty hard-headed lol!
I have a window decal on my jeep of a Boston with angel wings that has "Yadi" in the body and below it it says "Forever in our hearts".
Thanks PR!
Oh no...he swallowed it?! I'm sure that was fun when he passed it Beacon likes to take stuff too. I'm constantly pulling things from his mouth. He has 100s of toys, but he has to go steal the little screw cover on the base of the toilet. We were used to an older dog (not really old he was only 9) and we both forgot what it is like to have a puppy in the house. I feel like having a child would be easier lol!
Thanks Luna! We don't have kids, but it sure feels like we do have one with this puppy. I don't know how people have kids and dogs. No thank you!
I'm slowly starting to like lifting again. It was weird that I just hated it for a while. It had a lot to do with losing Yadi. For a couple of years I was obsessed with working out. So obsessed that I didn't notice that my dog was suffering. I have a lot of guilt about that. It's getting better though.
Nothing too terribly exciting to report. Just playing around with weights trying to figure out what my working sets should be. Managed 5x5 115lb DLs. Have only been doing them with a 50lb KB. At first I was just happy I could move 115lbs down to the floor. I realized that I still hate front squats. Oh and I did 2 pull ups!
The weather has been stupid lately. We had single digit temps a week ago, then temps in the teens. Today high of 65 and right now it is 22! Will have below zero temps in the morning. My skin is so dry and I have these little bumps on my forearms that I'm trying like hell not to scratch. Have sprayed them with colloidal silver and will probably take a benadryl tonight. I'm done with winter!!

Haha! Welcome I started it when I was 38 I think? And it was making things jiggle less before turning 40 lol. I kind of managed to do that and now just trying to keep it up. The struggle is real!! Will be 43 next month
Thanks Luna! I know I'll be cursing the weather when it is 100+ in July...but I can't wait for it!!
Had a productive weekend! I finally took the time to go through all of my drawers in my dresser and closet. Tons of stuff for good will and two trash bags full of old socks, underwear, bras, swim suits! and receipts for random stuff purchased 10 years ago! I organized drawers with dividers so I can find stuff. I switched most of the drawers around so it will probably take me a week to figure out where the hell everything is now. Everything is folded or rolled all nice and neat. Hope it stays like that for a few weeks at least!
So for the first time in a while, I was excited to work out today!! The weights are laughable, but I'll get back there. Still figuring out what feels good and trying not to kill my knee. Has held up pretty good so far.

Oh god, that's too much for me. I don't do heat well, or cold really. >.< When it's too hot my face gets red, and it's embarrassing.

Glad you're feeling good about the gym, the numbers aren't important, you're getting in there, and it's not a drag to do it. That counts more.PRs: 95lbs/126lbs/212lbs
Next Goals: 100lbs/150lbs/215lbs
