Starting this new year this way Mon - Fri.
Pre-workout
Kale Shake 8 oz
[celery, cucumber, ginger root, pineapple, kale]
multi-vitamin
Breakfast
hard boiled egg
2 oz sharp cheddar
black coffee
Mid-morning snack
cottage cheese
pineapple
banana
lunch
A bowl of what I call tuna massacre
[brown rice, black beans, 1 can of tuna, yellow onion, carrots, celery, jalapeno, cilantro]
black coffee
afternoon snack
apple
V8 juice
Dinner
8 oz lean meat
a vegetable
possibly sweet potato
Snack
Triscuits
hummus
Throughout the day there should be a decent amount of water to chug, and on Friday I loosen the reins up to allow some beer & pizza in.
I'm finding that I can't really out-train a crummy diet.

Day two is going quite well.
Despite the fact that I usually eat quite a bit more food than i am now, my appetite is well sated.
I also decided to figure in pickles as a decent snack food, and I've cut up a melon to treat myself with at lunch tomorrow.
Turning down sugary snacks didn't seem like such a big deal, but it seems everyone at work decided to purge their holiday leftover goodies. I'm staying disciplined though. Sugar is just not an option for me any more.You can have RESULTS, or EXCUSES not both.
