I've decided to give up my old log and start fresh. After much time away from the forums I'm back. I am a mom of 3 yr old twins so training gets messed up sometimes and after bunion surgery late Aug. and a few months of I feel I'm ready to really start prep for my 4th powerlifting meet.
I'm chasing my numbers sadly and have to put on the brakes to avoid killing myself, and my diet on the whole sucks. Yes I am working on it.
Meet bests
Squat 75kg
bench 55kg
Deadlift 115kg Non are great numbers but they were on their way.
Current max's
squat 70kg
bench 55kg <----finally
DL 10kg<---this one is ticking me off
The meet is Feb 16, this week has been a week off of sorts. I've done some lifting but mostly stuff I don't really do a lot of. A few really good w/o's non the less but real work starts Monday. First immediate goal is to stabilize my weight. Ive dumped a couple Kg way too fast since the Christmas bloat.
So that's that.

Took the the boys to their first non parented swimming lessons. Holy hell it was pretty bad, ended up jumping into the pool in my gym gear to grab devil child that dove right in half an hour before he was supposed to get better from there. played with squats after for a bit. Today I figured out
a) leather squat shoes with bare feet and loads of scar tissue sucks. A lot.
b)bar position has been off. Think I got it fixed today.
Stuck to really light and tried to keep em all deep south. only got up to 135 lb. It was all short and sweet but ok. not much else to reporthttp://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159276021

If you figured something out with your squat I think that is a super successful session!

My knee brace keeps me from going full straight (180) and full bend (90), so I won't be able to do proper ATG squats until I get my strength back up... I'm stuck partial range of motion for the time being (110 degrees to 170 degrees ish). I'm going to do the best I can with what I got though. Hopefully I can get over 135lbs squatting before football season starts !! that's being VERY optimistic. 7 weeks to go from bar to 135... ?? we shall see!!BluePrint Believer!

You blew the knee playing football correct? Seems you and bad knees go way back if I remember....Are you expected to regain ROM soon? Sounds like you would be super limited. Sucks. God, it just occurred to me its gonna fall to me to teach the boys how to throw a football. That and skating I am not looking forward to.

OK I suck and therefore this will be an epic long post.
Nah screw it cliffs notes of the last few days
Deads I cant complain about. I finally pulled 110kg It had been my last opener, its taken freaking forever to come back up. My hope is it will be like my last huge stall on DL, once I moved I moved up 15kg in 2 weeks.
Bench is stuck at 54kg. and its ugly and I doubt would Id get whites for it so realistically 52.5kg (which pisses me off) In my mind I MUST get 55kg 57.5kg would be better tho. Ive been 55kg for 2 meets now.
Squat I an a little shaky on numbers. 80kg is way high on depth. 70kg I THINK I am there. So I guess now that Im looking at that in print I'm ok with a 70kg squat, more is always better.
-New stuff I tried in the last week I liked. Sumo goblet squats I enjoyed. I will do them more often.
- Shrug downs took some getting used to, once you get em right tho I can totally see benefits to all 3 lifts. These will also be a regular addition.
Im tripped about this meet. I don't feel ready, I lost so much time after the foot. Im looking at it as experience, and my friend and training partner seems to have found her groove, we have done these together since the start. Girl gonna kick some ass including mine, but that's cool, she earned it. At least its a day out of town with no 3 yr olds.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159276021

Just found this thread....bunion surgery, eh? I am on a waiting list to see an orthopeduc surgeon for the very same thing. How long were you "grounded" (lol) for? That is scary to me... I have been told I may not be back up and running for at least 6 months... that is a no-no for me. What has your experience been?

Wish I could understand but numbers are not in english.
Don't get nervous. The meet will be what it is. If its not great it should still provide you a valuable lessons about how to make the next one betterThe Beast Journey to Elite

Todays W/O was squats. got up to 75kg clean. Was then interrupted. Desk lady asked if I was Med, I said ya what did the kid do?
She said "Your house is on fire don't panic call blank #" Good bloody luck on don't panic, I flipped.
