    Im a crap poster.

    slacker month in the gym so this month is make up for it month before school starts. Did a bit o everything Friday....bench, squats, SSP, battle ropes, dips, box squats and some arms just because.. Discovered weight transfer planks and ended up launching myself into the floor, but I think I love em.

    New focus is bench. I will be getting a 60kg bench by nov. Its an extra 5kg so I think its doable. Unless someone can suggest something better Im thing smolov jr for aug. Aaand Im unsure if I will do a full meet in Nov or deal with it and just bench. Discovered Ive got screwed up discs in my lumbar region and am in no position to deal with back surgery

    oh ya, did the prowler for the first time a few weeks back. Holy crap that is hard. I had an 8 year old tell me that her daddy gets mad if people puke in the parking lot then she took my hand and led me to the toss up tree, pointed at the ground and told me to throw up there lol.     Did a little test on bench as the new program is based off 8 reps paused...85 was a bit too light 95 was a touch heavy (was touching and going by the last few instead of a full 3 count on the chest so I figure Im starting off with90lb. Frankly I think that seems way light but Im going to be smart this time out and follow a program instead of making it a week in and saying screw it go heavy (Im bad for that one)

    The workout that wasn't
    tried to bench worked up to 95lb and the shoulder was killing me so I tried back. No dice still hurts, so I talked a lot, did 5 min worth of hanging (this didn't hurt, I expected it to) managed 15 sec hang with my right hand, tried to do the same with the left and very quickly found myself on the floor, strength imbalance was pretty obvious. I will keep working on it.
