He did mention on both occasions that cutting could be an option. I did get lucky both times. Guess having a weak dead lift paid off for me. The nurse did (and I’m being serious) comment on my arms as she put on the blood pressure cuff in the operating room. Probably being nice, but I’d prefer that be the last thing I hear as the gas takes affect.
I didn’t hear what they said as the moved me onto the operating table.
Probably better that way .

Nostalgia takes over me so many times.. it feels like yesterday
Oh how we loved Suzi Quatro! This picture was taken in Adelaide, South Australia in the mid-70s.
Suzi Quatro may have retired after her last tour but you can't keep this 70s Rocker down, she was
back on Australian shores for the 32nd time last year and a friend who went to see her stage show
was blown away.

People getting surgery, losing jobs...had both this past week. Lost a job, didn't have surgery, but did have two slipped discs which had to be put back into place. Sitting is a pain, literally...can only sit and write for about twenty minutes before it gets to be too much. Bugger it. I'll get back to normal, but it sucks all the same. Hope those who are jobless can find something, those who got cut heal soon.

Now we see why the nest is enormous, they're huge now lol I thought there were only two eaglets left but then saw it was hidden behind the other... phew
When I looked earlier, it was about 3:30am and still dark but visible, two were busy standing and preening. I couldn't see the third but thought it was sleeping and hidden from view.
They look strong and ready to fly. So amazing to watch the youngsters enjoying flapping their wings, really impressive wing spans. Love watching them do this and they're very cute when asleep - three plump turkeys on a plate
Obviously they're not ready to fly just yet, I'll keep a tab open to check how they're doing haha I bet I'll miss it.
We currently have a pair of sea eagles preparing right now. Sadly the pair had an unsuccessful breeding season last year whereby the newly hatched chick died and the second egg was unviable. The web cam is not working, well it is but I'm hearing sport of some sort playing haha, so best to turn sound off. No eggs yet so not much to see .. we have pictures and various entries to keep us up to date. The nest has been rebuilt. The male has been seen fishing and wooing her by presenting his mighty catch to his girl.
For the latest observations, click on 'Eagle Diary' within this page:
http://www.birdlife.org.au/visit-us/...ntre/eagle-cam
[edit] - An adult just brought a squirrel, ripped off plenty of fur and is now feeding the eaglets. They're very respectful, waiting patiently, only occasionally sticking a beak in for a helping..

Interesting.....I will try to keep up with them. Maybe she will be laying some eggs soon.
They must have eaten a turtle for breakfast. There is a shell laying in the front section of the nest (camera 1). One of the eaglets was snacking on it earlier and flipped the shell over.

Big day here for our family of bald eagles.
For the past 7-10 days the young eagles have been "branching". This is where they begin venturing out of the nest onto the surrounding branches.
Today the eagles have been "fledging". Taking their first flights. I believe 2 of the 3 young eagles have taken flight this morning. One may have flown some yesterday.

A very exciting and nervous time for all, Gregg.
I've been tuning in daily and missed the first flights. Will keep a close eye on them this morning.
Noshi and Shima really are awesome parents.

Met a young woman, very attractive, lots of stuff in common, we've gone out a few times, but there is a relationship blocker that I can't let go of. I'm literally too immature to not crack up or take her seriously when she talks about Crossfit. Maybe it is the regimen or her diet, whatever it is it's working for her or she's blessed genetically, I'm not sure to be honest. I can't even encourage her.
One more rep? Why don't you just curl the actual barbell thats what the handhold is there for.
Should aching? Yeah, I'll rub it but maybe you should consider not humping the air like a preteen on a monkey bar.
See even here I can't stop.
I've made so many jokes about Crossfit, seen so many injuries and treat the disciples of their cult the same as jehovahs witnesses (polite but still closing the door). It's a near life long habit at this point.
Have to figure some way to close the door on the topic, still see her, worship her amazing body while keeping the lid on years of hilarious Crossfit jokes, situations, and idiocy.

I have seen some pretty "ripped" people that live the crossfit lifestyle.
We are all trying to be healthy. I am for whatever methods work for the individual. Powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding, crossfit, Olympic lifting, yoga, kettlebell training, cycling, running, HIT, Super Slow...….I have no hang ups on what type of training gets us there.
The important question is how is her sammich making?Last edited by deadwoodgregg; 06-12-2018 at 01:41 AM.
