With all the fires, the air quality in the San Francisco area is becoming horrendous. I feel like I smoked a pack of cigs a day. It's like my airways are coated in some foul tasting and smelling chemical crap. Yuck!

No....no YT videos.
Last live band I was in ended late 1980....3 piece rock. (whew....that was a very enjoyable endeavor)
I was the drummer in this band but came out from behind the trap set to play guitar on a couple songs that I wrote...then...back behind the trap set.

No....no videos of our years back then.
The cover songs that I have on my default practice/jam are Doobie Brothers, Steely Dan, Alan Parsons....you get the genre I prefer.
The originals on my soundclick page (16 of them, I think) in my signature are all written after those times

Yes...in all my subjectivity, I also think the late 60's and 70's had the best music.
My opinion on what passes for actual talent, good music today?.....you don't want to know and I may get negged back to The Land Down Unda and get perma-banned.

I am sorry to see the loss of life in these fires. In a group I follow, a poster had put up a photo of her son's home. It was completely burnt to the ground. How is it possible to have floods on one side of the country and devastating fires on the other.

As an aside, I was sucking in a lot of smoke yesterday after burning toast in the grill. The house still smells!

The only music thread I've posted in musically speaking is a "guitar mega thread" just to help some people out.
I've seen Bando comment a bit there too but I haven't posted there for a couple months.
Many are metal heads and I'm no help in that genre.
I think it's somewhere near the regular misc. forum which I don't go near.

Just arrived. Pair of Prime Fitness RO-T8 cable attachment handles. I think they will be good for fly, pulldown, and row exercises. Not sure about bicep/tricep exercises.

I just gotta share with you this gorgeous photo shared by a local wildlife carer. These two are her sistas...SweetPea on her lap...lol and Bluebelle on her back. The most amazing, sensitive, intelligent and affectionate animals. Kangaroos have beautiful, gentle souls and are very family orientated.

Yep. A happy family, Wegs haha Our carers do such an amazing job and love their critters, these are reds btw. When they grow to about 20kg, they'll release them back in the wild. If any have long term issues, they're usually taken to parks and sanctuaries and happily go on to live a great life.
