The Queen is back.
With the cooler weather the cat has decided to move back upstairs to the top floor which over the summer became the dog's lair of noncatitude. As the dog is younger I think she thought the summer dynamic shift was the new form of territorial management. As the dog's owner is a bit older I also thought this dynamic shift was as well the new form of territorial management. However it has become quite apparent over the last week that the cat was simply sleeping downstairs because it was cooler, now that the house is an even temperature with a slight nod to the upstairs a bit warmer she is all about the upper floor again and the dog is out of luck.
I. I am. I am also out of luck as this cat tends to stay in a prime area of the upstairs for several hours and throws an absolute hissy fit if disturbed, areas such as the bed, the area of door swing for the bathroom door, any chair you've sat on and moved from for a moment, and of course my keyboard. The family and I are kind of used to this and it's not that big of a deal except for last night when the cat decided to reclaim all of her glory and discovered my dresser which she kind of slept on.
It was pretty much this all night. Un-nerving. I liked this cat better when she would crawl into bed with me and claw me when I touched her side. I learned to keep the left side of the bed clear and even keep a pillow between us. This new stalker waiting to pounce crap simply will not do. I'm not sure if I'm about to wake up to 4 claws in my face or cuddle muffin warming herself against my abs. I think I wrote all this nonsense out because I'm that tired and dreading going to sleep right now all from a cat I could literally punt across the room.
Just kidding this cat has really sharp claws and I know the deal. I also suspect she can read since she's sitting her in her beautiful form watching my fingers touch the keys and watching the screen. So I just want to add that I love my cat. A lot. Love the collar as well. You're such a good girl...

Matt Damon stranded on Mars and the story is about trying to get him back???
During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. But Watney has survived and finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring "the Martian" home, while his crewmates concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible rescue mission. As these stories of incredible bravery unfold, the world comes together to root for Watney's safe return.
