I don't get the hate for the beard thing. I rock one because;

-Its a conversation starter.

-My coarse and curly hair cannot be clean shaven and when I do I get razor bumps like a motherfucker.

-Its actually at the stage that is pretty damn comfortable and fluffy. Its like I have a personal scarf on 24/7.

-most people that even talk about beards cannot even grow one. I can. and there are no patches or thin areas anywhere. It would be a disservice to men for me to not have a full beard.

-saving a shit ton of money not having to buy shaving cream and razors constantly.



and lastly because i'm black, there's not much I can do with the hair on my head. Either I do dreads (which are nasty) corn rows which are ghetto as fuck, or various forms of fades which are boring too, or bald. The beard gives me an overall different hairstyle to work with. It compliments the boring hair style I have on my head and makes it look different for once.
