    Thumbs up Anyone else cutting come January? Motivational thread!

    Looking to start a motivational thread for cutting! I will post progress during mid & end of month (plus the upcoming months). I usually find it hard to keep motivated. Usually a few weeks in I start thinking fuq cutting lets bulk and get huge mother****er, well this year lets get peeled to the bone brahs!

    Here's where I'm starting. hoping to get to 8% this year, lowest I will ever be. Anyone feel free to share tips and ideas associated with shredding the excess fat.

    In on january cut, cutting from 20% to hopefully 10% in 5-6 months. I am at 205lbs atm.

    Plans are 3x week full body and 2-3x HIIT and some light cardio and a good diet to go with it.

    In, I'm going to start cutting in a couple of weeks. Sitting at 185 at probably 15-16% now, I want to get below 10% for this summer. I've never been lower than 13-14% my entire life so it will be a challenge. I'm guessing I'll probably have to cut down to 165-70ish.

    Think I'm going to keep my lifting schedule the same and start at 2500 calories, then lower it gradually or start doing cardio if I'm not losing on that.

    Wanted to get a bit more mass before cutting but I'm starting to feel fat and I don't like it.

    Gotta end this forever cut lol... Lost 17lb (8.5kg) so far.

    Hopefully I can get to 180lb at 8%-10% bodyfat, with the big 3/4/5 plates on my main lifts. Maybe I'm just asking too much, but I want it so bad lol.

    I'm going for a simple deficit.

    I try to get in cardio once a week, slowly ramp up, and also eating at 2400 calories for weight loss. Once I lose 30lb I will taper down to 2000 or 2200 calories (I hope...), might even have to get into the 1500's if i'm anal about my weight loss.

    Sounds pretty good man. I guess the longer cutting phases are the more size and strength you preserve.

    Definitely in. I've lost 45 pounds the last three years (used to be obese) currently I'm at 20-22% bf but I'm sick and tired of being fat. I'm hoping to lose 8-10% bf over the next 3 months, I know it's gonna be a lot harder but I'm confident I'll pull through.

    yeah I guess I'm just gonna see where my cut takes me I don't want to lose a lot of weight. After I reach <10% BF (if I do) I'll probably do IIFYM on like a 200 calorie surplus. chit's tricky mane bulking's so easy just eat chit and lift
