Just curious what you all think is an impressive or respectable squat? Try not to envoke the misc standards, be reaalz. I'm asking because in my own gym, I rarely see anyone 2 plating with full ROM. A few guys do 315 but they are literally 1/3 squats.

It's all relative op. compared to some people 225 is awesome but there's a dude at my gym who weighs around 170 and he squats 475. Sooo yea.

I am squatting 240x5 right now lol. I never have squatted consistently my entire lifting career until 9 weeks ago. It's completely way too low based on my other main lifts. Bench is 320, Deadlift 525. I'm expecting my DL to rise dramatically once my squat catches up. Been making steady gains so far these 9 weeks on madcow.

the sad truth...when i do anything above 315 i get people staring. but if i went to a "hardcore" gym id be on the low end of the 190 pounders squat wise for my age, lol.
my scale is this...
225=1 year
315=2 years
405=3-4 years
any healthy male can hit those numbers in that time frame, if you don't it is simply due to lack of focus, dedication, nutrition, act.**Florida Crew**

I will be doing that at some point. I agree ATG is the only way to squat. I'm doing my first powerlifting meet in March, dunno if I will hit that number but I think I have a **** load of room for squat gains in a relatively short amount of time compared to my other gains rate on other lifts.
lol some old dude (my buddy and I call him '1/32 repper', loads up 315 and literally has a 6'' ROM.Opeth, Vai, and Lamb of God enthusiast.

anyone who actually bothers to squat regularly can hit that easily, but in your average gym its pretty impressive... i managed 140kg, which is like 310 for 6 the other week, pretty meh by real standards, and people were staring, one asked me if i was a professional and on steroids... srs
Bench / Squat / Deadlift
