Not rly a fan of the qualifications. They mention bench, squat and deadlift numbers but what about people's body weight? For example I am 121 pounds, and my 1rm is about that much.

That would mean I'm not even an experienced beginner even though I practice good form and know what I'm doing and have made some gains, for example

    Bench-75-115lbs
    Squat-65-150lbs
    Deadlift-95-225lbs

All 5 rep maxal from since I started lifting 4 months ago.

For me to get to a 185 bench as classified as an experienced beginner, for my weight would be more of early intermediate. Me benching 225 would be almost twice my body weight which take a very long time to get to whereas it's easily attainable in a short amount of time and consistency w others

I've reached advanced stage. I was at my genetic limit. I hit plateaus and busted through them switching up certain aspects of diet and training.
I reached all of this as a natty.
    Benched 365x2
    Could do 30 pull-ups
    Dead lift 315x10
    Squat 405x8
    Curl 185
Dips with a 110 lb DB between my legs

So, I'd say advanced. Everyone called me method man in the gym because my form was perfect.

Unfortunately I'm no where near that now because of multiple sports injuries. I've had 3 surgeries in the last year and a half.

Early intermediate, but I've been on a cut so thats why my main lifts are down, sometimes gaining a bit of extra strength here and there. I'll report back when i'm on maintenance\bulk.

I mean if basing off lift numbers when normal then I was intermediate after noob gains..

By the lifting #s I am an experienced beginner, but I have probably been lifting longer than my #s indicate. I just hate eating so my gains are handicapped by my weight a bit.

    Advanced Lfters
Very few lifters reach the advanced stage. Advanced lifters have faced very difficult challenges, and have learned to overcome these challenges by trial and error. They know their bodies and limits well, and are mentally tough.
An advanced lifter is elite or near elite level in powerlifting, or near their natural genetic muscle building potential if a bodybuilder.

I would say I've overcome challenges, reached my genetic potential. I know leg press isn't considered powerlifting, but leg pressing 1300 for reps and having calves at 20" is top tier.

Closer to Experienced than I am to Beginner.

Bench isn't at experienced yet - it's 165x2 - (185 is experienced) but beginner is way off (135).

Would say experienced.. better form than most people, lift a decent weight for my weight I'd say.. only thing that's holding me back is my poor appetite. Rarely hungry enough to hit 3k cals to bulk

GANDALF: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.
    PIPPIN: What? Gandalf? See what?
GANDALF: White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.

No disrespect, but apart from your bench, your numbers are nowhere near 'elite' by powerlifting standards (neither are mine)

I would be extremely surprised if 315x10 deadlift and 405x8 squat is your true genetic limit, bearing in mind you have a 365x2 bench.

Edit: To be clear, your lifts are very good, but I think you're setting yourself limits when they aren't actually there.

Intermediate based on bench and deadlift, early intermediate squat.

I'm probably somewhere between those 2 tbh, leaning more towards early intermediate.

This article is stupid it assumes everyone learns and trains for powerlifting.

Just my opinion though bc there is no way a "beginner" is squatting 225 and deadlifting like 375 lol. And it has no relativity to bodyweight or propensity to body structure. Personally I think it's silly

    Could do 30 pull-ups

So, I'd say advanced. Everyone called me method man in the gym because my form was perfect.

Unfortunately I'm no where near that now because of multiple sports injuries. I've had 3 surgeries in the last year and a half.
You havnt hit your genetic limit, just stop with nonsensical statements like that. Also I hope its injuries contributing to you outsquatting your deadlift by such a large margine because if not...

Not being a dick but leg press is absolutely worthless as a tool to measure strength. Almost any healthy adult can hop on a leg press and do plates for reps. With training much more.

Beginning lifter checking in, though I'm basically exactly at the strength benchmarks. I know most everybody probably thinks this about themselves, but I really do know a lot more about what I'm doing than my stats and lifts represent. While my progress has not been even close to optimal in the last 2 years, I've made some improvements and gained a lot of experience.

Yes yes, I'm 150lbs and have been lifting for 2 years lol. I'm actually only 5'9" I think so that makes it slightly less pathetic I hope.
