Yeah, I didn't think it was all that special when I made it back then. They're all just ripoffs of the original rev. hyper anyways. Just though it was funny that more of these are coming out now with "patent pending". Which is dumb in this case.

Structural steel (tubing, flat bar...) is around $0.50-$0.55/lb right now, in Canada. US won't be much different. Go from there.

That one, yes. As comparaison, the half-rack in the 2nd post is 580lbs without spotters or j-hooks. 7 gauge.

Once again great work, racks look very professional and safe.

Depends what it is, but if it's on a pallet and has to clear customs, then yes, probably not worth it.

What about southern Ontario?

Doable. Also, people drive up from there every once in a while to pick up. Maybe you could strike a deal. But I can ship there if not.

1/2" would be minimum. But getting plate flat is a pain. I would suggest making the top out of 4-6" wide beams or tubes, side by side, with gaps for clamps and such.

those are some sweet looking j-hooks. curious as to what is the white protective items on the back of them and where did you get them? I was looking for something like that for my j-hooks to prevent scratching etc. thanks

Adhesive backed uhmw strips. McMaster has it in the US. mcmaster.com

Those were using strips, 1/32" (0.031"). I've also used 1/8" for other uses.

-30 Inch Squat Depth with 3x3 Uprights
-Holes on all 4 sides of uprights
-2x3 Plate Storage with only 16" between uprights
-Total overall depth of 54"
-30" Swing in Safeties
-Bolt Together Design
-Easy to upgrade

The Dark Horse is close, but I want a complete bolt together design for ease of breakdown and setup.

Ya, I made them. EFS/Williams Strength makes them also for 5/8" pins. Not sure why rogue doesn't yet. Sorinex uses 1" pins.
