Yeah, I didn't think it was all that special when I made it back then. They're all just ripoffs of the original rev. hyper anyways. Just though it was funny that more of these are coming out now with "patent pending". Which is dumb in this case.

Structural steel (tubing, flat bar...) is around $0.50-$0.55/lb right now, in Canada. US won't be much different. Go from there.

Doable. Also, people drive up from there every once in a while to pick up. Maybe you could strike a deal. But I can ship there if not.

1/2" would be minimum. But getting plate flat is a pain. I would suggest making the top out of 4-6" wide beams or tubes, side by side, with gaps for clamps and such.

Those were using strips, 1/32" (0.031"). I've also used 1/8" for other uses.

Wait did you fab the swing in safeties for the Black & Red rack also????? Holy crap why can't Sorinex, or Rogue see this right now.

You've pretty much my dream rack

-30 Inch Squat Depth with 3x3 Uprights
-Holes on all 4 sides of uprights
-2x3 Plate Storage with only 16" between uprights
    -Total overall depth of 54"
    -30" Swing in Safeties
    -Bolt Together Design
    -Easy to upgrade

The Dark Horse is close, but I want a complete bolt together design for ease of breakdown and setup.

Ya, I made them. EFS/Williams Strength makes them also for 5/8" pins. Not sure why rogue doesn't yet. Sorinex uses 1" pins.

Is the EFS/Williams Strength 30 inches? I wonder if either of those would work with a Rogue Monster or Monster Lite rack with 30 inch squat area, because then I can get the Rogue Racks I like and buy someone elses swing in safety. Rogue does make one, but its like 43 inches long and I'm trying to shorten my Rack Depth.

Dean @ Black Widow can do them- my BWTG rack is 30" squat depth w/ swing-in safeties:

My rack actually hits most of your needs that you listed, too
