Not really a build but I've been looking at some new bars for squats. Not done yet, but I did take the plunge on a duffalo bar. Blemish ones came up (nickel coating) and I grabbed one. Will have to sell something to pay for it but I'd like a nice "main" bar to do most of my squat training with. I also prefer the shorter wait time on the blemish than the 16-18 weeks they're currently quoting. And most of my stuff is beat to hell anyways, even with the blemish it'll be nicer than every other bar I own. I'll probably sell my strongarm buffalo bar as I'll probably never use it again with the new one in the gym.
And I'm up to something like 18 bars, and I have others I want to buy or make.▪█──█▪ Equipment Crew #61 ▪█──█▪

Nothing major. Made some changes to my monolift, will probably make rollers for the hooks but I want to see how that will work with the duffalo bar first. Made another offset football bar (angled grips. First one was neutral). Made a knockoff "rhinoflex" bar. And a 1.5" fat bar. Made my own version of havyk triads. Basically anything I see that is ridiculously overpriced, I'll just make my own. Anything I feel is worth it, unique, well made, beyond my capabilities... I'll gladly fork over the money.
Modified the jammer arm system I made a while back. I'm in the process of making somekind of dumbbell holders for my rack. Kind of like versaspot, which seems out of business. I can press DBs fine but getting anything heavy into position is a pain on one of my shoulders. I'm also looking at adding some "multiflex" arms (as per the arsenal machine) between my front uprights (my rack i actually 8 post, front section is 70" deep, no bottom brace). Not sure why, lol. But with my schedule, it takes me months to finish up each project, so I can't take on too much.▪█──█▪ Equipment Crew #61 ▪█──█▪

What are thoughts on these roller mono attachments? Not sure what the rollers are made out of.

If anyone cares, just an update on the duffalo bar. I love this bar. I've never had a bar (even other "buffalo" ones) stick to my back like this. I'm not a huge guy (210-220) and even with my hands way out wide (I'm out past the knurling, almost to the sleeves), this thing just velcros in place and doesn't budge. Completely painless on my shoulders/biceps. I'd buy again in a heartbeat.

True, but it's sort of a myth. We're a lot less metric in everyday lives than Europe (not counting UK which is a disaster) as an example. Every store, food item, and anything you buy by length, weight, volume... will always have both units, sometimes only imperial.
Also, in my line of work (steel), it's all imperial.
And I've done work for US companies in more "high-tech" fields (lasers, optics...) and all those were strictly metric, even if based in US.▪█──█▪ Equipment Crew #61 ▪█──█▪

Lol, you're not wrong, the UK joined the European Union in 1973, we had 48 years and we never really adapted to the metric system, the law requires that the price of goods are displayed in metric, per Kg, Per Litre and Per metre, people still go into the grocery store and ask for a pound of tomatoes, or the lumber yard and ask for an 8ftx4ft sheet of plywood, however the engineering industry is an exception and is totally metric based, oh and of course beer has always been sold by the pint and has never been priced by the litre.
We left the EU on January 1st, so I guess we're stuck in limbo now.

Before COVID shut gyms down, I used to low bar squat with a regular(29mm) bar and had shoulder/bicep pain regularly. Was wondering if switching to a 32mm squat bar will make it go away, since I heard it digs in less. Have you had any experience with the squat bars or would you now recommend the Duffalo bar instead?
