These were repurposed from some other stucture that used the slots as a built-in jig for the tubing (which has tabs cut to fit them). They serve no purpose once it's welded.

Ok, made some progress on this belt squat. Better hurry before rogue copies sorinex and then sues me for copying rogue
Loaded it up to 780, then climbed on to get it to 1000 lbs. Unracking the 780 went fine although I was using a dip belt and I was more worried about that than anything else. Nothing really tight/torqued and actual hardware isn't shown. Pivot will be a shoulder bolt, not the hex bolt used here. Same deal with the belt attachment point, I'm still plyaing with that one. Some differences with sorinex are:
. weight horns come apart to ship.
. can use 35" long rogue jammer arms (and anything longer). This one has 1" holes, but next one will add 5/8" holes also.
. no metal-to-metal contact. Bronze, plastic or rubber at all contact points.
. adjustable belt attachment. Again, playing with this.
. Probably more range of motion since plates are higher up and are nowhere near the ground when this bottoms out.
. 3/16" and 1/4" thick plates instead of 1/8". Probably useless, but there it is.

Also, here I'm just using a round bar through a tube for the arm. And I can confirm that the "smoothness" of the pivot makes 0 difference. There's so much load on it, it's not noticeable. What does make a difference, for loading, is the side-to-side play of that pivot. Because that will cause the thing to rock back and forth as you slide on plates. Nothing major/dangerous but it's there.

Belt "hole" at 16" as shown. But it can go up 2" by moving plate to top hole hole. Or lower by using other holes... Lots of options. 16" seemed fine for me but I'd need more feedback.

Rubber is from the jammer arm, not the attachment.

When bottomed out, attachment point is 18.5" away from weigth horn center, along horizontal axis. This is with attachment straight down. Of course since the front of it has 2 bolt holes, we can design an attachment plate that brings it out further. Although you'd gain more leverage this way, so need more weight.

Hitch pin, 3 sides. The top side secures it, the hitch pin being a pivot and the rear/top plate preventing rotation (photo #2). There will be uhmw on all 3 sides. In photo hitch pin is at the rear because this is for the 35" jammer arm. There's a hole at the front for the 48" model (near that front bolt that wouldn't be there for the longer arm). Obviously, with the 35" model, there's a ton of stress on that rear plate. But it's 1/4" thick, welded and inserted in slots. It's not going anywhere.

Mech, is there any way to make one of those kickstand things to fit onto the end of a bar in a landmine? Would you have any thoughts about creating such a thing?
