Hi there,
Okay so basically, im really skinny (182cm and 65kg) and have been wanting to gain some weight for a while now but never really motivated myself to do something about it. Over the past 2 months i have put on 5 kg by eating 3000+ calories everyday, i also do rowing which occurs 6 times a week and is very demanding. So here is my question, if i keep eating health amounts of calories every day and maybe take protein, is their much need to go gym if i already do rowing?

As stated above, it looks like you're already increasing in weight by doing what you're doing. If you're looking to be bigger (muscle-wise), then you need to weight train as well.
If you just want to put on weight in general (not caring about how much is muscle, or how much is fat), then just keep on what you're doing now.Paul Teixeira
