Nutrient partitioning supplements are generally refered to as GDA's (although this is incorrect), or glucose disposal agents. The idea is that it's going to clear glucose out of our system without a rise in insulin.

Nutrient partitioning is the idea that you can increase muscle tissue insulin sensitivity and "drive" nutrients into these cells vs adipose tissue. It's sort of a tough subject, as there isn't much literature out there to support this. Potentially, this category of supplements may in fact increase insulin sensitivity in both fat and muscle cells.

I'll let others chime in on what there favorite products are in this category.

I know a lot of people around the forums here talk about Animal M-Stak for its nutrient partitioning effects, especially if your looking to bulk up. Although, like aaronuconn said, i havent seen anyone link to a study proving their effectiveness.

I haven't taken a product that is specifically developed for this however I will research different stand alone supplements to see if they have a nutrient partitioning effect and if I think it is worth my while i will take it. I have taken on and off Cinnamon and ALA, preferable R-ALA if you can get it.

I'm currently logging Glycobol (NA R ALA) and I'm staying lean. I take it with high carb meals. I like agmatine too.

I'm currently using Glycophase, but only have a couple of days left then I'm switching over to Slin Sane V1 by Genomyx. I also like taking in 1g of agmatine with it before high carb meals (especially with the holidays).

    Cinnamon is also very good.

def a solid explanation of nutrient partitioning, the only one I've used had been m stack, I don't have some clinical research to back me, but my appetite was increased, I did gain weight, and generally felt stronger while on it... now I did. purposefully increase my cals while taking it, which if your taking that kind of product why wouldn't you.., but it's a product that gets a lot of love on here and has solid reviews to back it.

These are the most obvious/available other choices. I've only used Na-R-Ala and Slin-Sane v1, but looking forward to trying some of these newer ones.

op to answer your question its kind of hard to explain their effects but basically put it that it seems to help you stay leaner when used properly. burn 24, slintensity, and slin sane v1 is all ive used and burn 24 and slintensity have been best but I also high dose them

Of all the nutrition partitioners i have used, ive always had the best results with a standardized Bitter Melon extract. This can be bought fairly cheap and gets the job done, the important part is getting a quality standardized product that lists the amount of actives so you know what you are taking.

Alternatively, you can also take a look at Neogenix Supremacy which is exceptional on a recomp, and includes a very large standardized extract of Bitter Melon, as well as other complementing ingredients for when you are trying to add muscle without gaining bodyfat (if thats what you are looking to do, but who isnt).

But as with any quality products effects, a good diet and training program is key to get results. When trying to recomp its even more vital.
