I do but I think my socom 2 disc is scratched to death. Wont load properly. Tried my other ps2 games and they worked. Have you done it? I might go check out game stores to look for another socom 2 during my Christmas shopping.

Yeah I wish I had my ps2 to still play. A buddy of mine does the xlink thing and said they are lucky if there is 10 people on. It's sad to think only 10 people are on. Even if code 9 was still around on the servers I would still play, just try password rooms with friends or trusted people. Was a sad day playing on the servers the night before they shut down. The feels were hit hard

I know on TRS they set up a room with a password on community night so that pretty much eliminates hackers at least in that room.
Not a lot of people know about xlink and even if they did they could be in the same situation as me. My PS2 was on its last leg when the PS3 came out so as soon as I purchased the PS3 my PS2 went to the nearest recycling center and I lost my Socom 2 disc. Instead of going out to buy a used ps2 and Socom 2 disc I decided my money would be better spent on supporting the new Socom as opposed to playing a game with only 10 people on it during peak hours.
Welcome Socom brah. Pretty sure I played against your clan a time or too. I was in [R2R] and [YB] most of my Socom career.

Anyone here ever play MW2? Remember the heartbeat sensor? Thing was ridiculous. They keep putting retarded chit like this in shooters to make it "easier" to play the game and hit a wider audience. Can't wait for H-Hour. No UAV, no pussy heartbeat sensor attachments, just skill. Guns hot is all I need.
don't take this seriously

You mean the clan wars that started at 10pm and would go to 2am? Who knew 3 maps could last so long yet still be so enjoyable.
Socom was like a chess match with every piece vital to success. I remember in random rooms everybody would have mics and people would still work as a team. Get on bf4 and see how long it takes you to find that or even COD...

Played socom since the start. So in on this, and unbelievably stoked. Haven't had the feels I had in s1,2,3 for ever. Clan wars being like life or death, teamwork, 1 v there whole team, everyone on mics

I came in to post this haha. This game is definitely headed in the right direction. I've heard horror stories of the forums so I try my best not to even set foot in there.
Welcome fellow Socom vet. Get ready for H-Hour then, the [MISC] clan is where it will be.
Please tell me the one console shooter that was better than Socom. Lol hard if you reply HALO.
