1000's are more fun on the street than 600's. 600's are more fun on the track than 1000's.

Got my steel braided line in today finally. Got it on in about 10 minutes + the trx master cylinder = solid sportbike feel right now. No mush. Heard the trx master makes a world of difference by itself but I would rather do both at the same time so I have nothing to compare the differences to though. Trx master also has electrical brake line switches so wired those in to my bike.
Then someone is supposed to come pick the gsxr up on saturday, so we will see if that actually happens. If it does, a new load of parts will start to accumulate.

Hey plsbh. What 600 would you buy if you were in my position. I want comfort, and aesthetics to match. Also, what price would you sell/buy my 07 cbr at?

Thanks. Yeah, Ive seen a few on craigslist selling in the area. There's a 2007 675r Dayona with 12k miles selling for 5500 and its stock.
I have a special edition 2008 with 5900 miles
sliders
exhaust
stabilizer
records of everything done to it since its been purchased
everything needed for next oil change (wont be for a while)
BUT, it does need the front pads changed. I have new pads for front and back AND brake fluid so if the next purchaser wants a dealer to do it, all he's paying for is labor since the parts are in hand already.
I was hoping to throw it up for 6,100 and just selling for 6,000. This bike is so much fun, best piece of engineering I have ever sat on and I haven't even had it for that long. But school is school and that's what will most likely pay for my future so thats necessary. And the DMV hasn't even mailed me the title so I have to deal with that bull**** too.
repped back btw

I'm looking for 07 and up. Oh okay, in my area its around the same price KBB 6,400 in my area aswell. I got it for 4000 so Im thinking of putting it at 5500 aswell. Couple of cosmetic damages, been down once (my friend), and the fitment on some fairings are ****ed up (thanks china). What would you buy a bike I just described for?

i've ridden both and yeah its awesome but just where exactly on a public road are you using that much power ? and for a first bike ? no thanks. only benefit i'd think of would be low rpms while cruising on the interstate, but 600s are so much more nimble in the corners so you have that...

Buy this samualbrah vv
I don't see too many 675's available in my area. Are you uncomfortable doing the pads and bleeding the brakes yourself? Its very simple, but if you are not familiar doing them I would just add in your listing somewhere that you are giving the extra parts with the bike including oil change stuff and brake pads. Don't even need to say the bike needs new pads, most people should be able to do them themselves.

I have worked on cars before and have taken my Hyosung GT650R apart to the frame and put it back together again, changing the pads and everything; BUT this bike is so fine to me that I'm almost afraid to touch it and mess anything up. I have no doubt in my mind I could do it, I'm not a newbie when it comes to mechanics. You know what, I'll actually do it. My dads a mechanic and owns his own shop, I'll ask him to watch over me as I do it so I don't **** anything up. I'm sure that would help with the asking price. Do you think 6000 is too much?
I would sell to Samualbrah but I'm alllllll the way in NY and he's alllll the way in Cali

That will throw a lot of people off that know what they are looking at with the china fairings and damage. I'd still throw it up for what you want and just put $5500 firm or something. I usually do that if my posting has been up for a while when I drop the price because $XXXX is my absolute firm price I knew I would sell it for when I bought it. You will still get a lot of annoying offers for $4k but I just ignore those people.

Your bike you can ask 10k if you wanted. Whats kbb value in your area? Stealerships and shops all the time make mistakes and put scratches dings in their work, i'd feel much better doing it myself slow and carefully than paying someone else to do it on a bike that is not theirs. Just take your time and as you know lay down a lot of towels under your master cylinder so the brake fluid doesn't spill and pit out anything.

I forgot your "which 600" question. For me I would throw the 600rr out personally since no slipper like kickblake said. Then really you can't go wrong with any of the others, I would choose what looks best in your opinion, and try to find some friends that will let you ride theirs if you got a lot of riding buddies. Otherwise the only one I have not really owned would be the 675 and I'd try to find one of those lol.
Or after you have the 1000rr sold, just look for the best deal.

I'm srs of buying a daytona after looking around. Think is aesthetic at first glance. Mirin it hard man. However I cant make a trip right now, and I need to sell my motorcycle first. I'm sure you'll find a buyer immediately, your bike looks awesome
Alright man. First things first I have to sell this 1000rr. So after that I'll look for the best deal. I really want to test ride a daytona 675 now though
Thanks a lot plsbh. youre very helpfulPositive crew
