Original Planned title for this log was:
ProMera Sports - PEAK 400/Gluta-Blast/Women's elite PWO: biggoron and Goalie_Girl asked Santa for gainz. Will he deliver?
But it was too long,
Anyway, I would like to thank Yakuzastyle and the guys at Promera Sports for running this competition, and for choosing Goalie_Girl and myself to log their wonderful products.
For this log I will be using Gluta-Blast and Peak 400.
Let me get my intro out of the way, for people who do not know me. They call me Ron, not my name though lol. I started my diet in Jan 2012, so it's almost two years now. Started just under 320lbs, and today i'm checking in at 201lbs.
Been waiting a long time to be able to bulk the correct way just waiting to hit my goal weight.
I am really looking forward to seeing what these supps can do for me and my workouts as I finish my LOOOONG cut.
TEAM YAK FTW!!

Hello Everyone! First of all I’d like to thank ProMera for the opportunity to do this and yakuzastyle for picking me to do this thing! I’m goal-oriented, determined by nature. I see this as an invitation to leave nothing on the table for these 6 weeks, because there are 86,400 seconds in a day and we have a choice how to spend those every day. I, like most of us here, choose to spend my days getting better. Because if your limit is this today, it should be something else tomorrow. Every day. Stronger. Better. Faster. I hope to continue striving towards this and push my limits with the help of two products by Pro Mera: Women’s Elite Pre Workout and Gluta Blast.
Will update with my goals for these 6 weeks along with intro pictures in the coming days. I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new products!
Also, if you’re looking for food pr0n, you’ve come to the right place! More about my diet with my goals/stats/photos post but here’s a preview to hold your attention for now…
I’m pumped everybody! Lets do this!
All I want for Christmas is sweat!

I'm ready!
Will make you food anytime, stop on by!
I will also be going for Best Overall Transformation and possibly Most Weight lost. We shall see. Most Muscle Gained While Staying Lean would be cool but forever cutting and my newb gainz proably wont cut it! I figure I'm also up for any/all of the logging awards as I tend to put in work.
Thanks for the subbs everyone!"The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it." Michelangelo

Quick update for the morning.
Still eagerly watching for the mail man with my box of gainz.
Will have intro pics posted tomorrow! Get ready for my mega post of goals and inspiration and progress and life story. I'm so excited to seize the opportunity. So excited for this extra fire lit under my ass! I like to update throughout the day as I keep moving/eating.
Got in my usual fasted cardio this morning. 20:05 minutes, 313.8 calories, 8.53 miles. Temperature this morning in the garage was 29 degrees! Took 6 minutes on the bike just to feel parts of my body again!
Breakfast was carb poverty sludge. Tastiness aplenty though. Macros listed below (unlisted is calorie free walden farms chocolate syrup)
Looking forward to posting pictures tomorrow and receiving my products, than the real fun begins!Last edited by Goalie_Girl; 12-05-2013 at 03:56 PM.

Welcome aboard gentlemen! And thank you!
Throughout this log I'm often posting from here...
This is where I work. I'm a dirt dirty cupcake smut peddler. Temptation stares me in the face, and sometimes slaps me around, on a daily basis. I'm hoping this is like extra bonus points or something. To my right is a 10 gallon vat of cream cheese, to my left are 4 dozen salted caramel cupcakes, in my mouth are almonds and spinach.
Moar food! Moar cardio! Moar macros!
A little low on the calories for me but offsetting a high day yesterday. More on my macros in tomorrow's detailed photo post but in the later stages of my cut I have been utilizing fasting (through my own choice and convenience) as well as cutting my carbs pretty significantly. Both changes have been good but the lower carbs through increased training certainly are an adjustment! More about that in my goal post tomorrow as well!

Ok BOOM! HERE WE GO!
*Starting Stats as of TODAY Friday, Dec 6th 2013*
Height: 5'5"
Age: 22
Weight: 151 lbs
Bodyfat %: ???
Please bare with me on the messy hair, vacant expression and paper white paleness. I apologize to your corneas in advance, lol. I'm part irish, I sunburn through t shirts sometimes. What can I say? Plus, it takes up a lot of courage to let someone take these pics, let alone post them here for all of you. But I'm happy to do it. Lets get to know me...
You can call me goalie girl or goalie. Let's meet me on April 22nd of this year.
Wisdom tooth surgery aside this is the day I weighed 196 lbs. This is also the last day I did nothing about that.
Before the surgery I had decided I was ready to become who I had always wanted to be. I suffer from clinical depression. I spent the last few years of my life between my parents divorcing, traumatic experiences, being a nomad not caring whether I watched my weight. As someone who had been overweight since puberty I just decided not to do anything about it. People were cruel. My family was judgemental. I decided to just continue gaining weight. Later I was cautiously diagnosed with a thyroid issue that I have still not had treated but I didnt care, I decided to drown my emotions with food when I could. April was the highest I'd been in a long time on the scale (not my all time high) and the lowest place I'd ever been in my life. I decided at some point that I would make a change after wisdom tooth surgery. I spent a week unable to eat anything that required the least amount of chewing. Great people say, great diet starter! Not particularly, pudding, ice cream, mashed potatoes, yogurt, applesauce, do not make a nutritional diet. But when I started to eat again I just started making better choices, smaller servings. I went at it with little steps in nutrition but big steps in fitness. I knew the rest would follow.
I was born with a bone deformity in both feet that leaves me with chronic severe pain in my left foot and the inability to run and take impact. Previously before injuries and financial issues I had been a top female roller hockey goaltender in the country. That has always been what I feel my calling was. I feel at home on the rink, then again cycling always felt like freedom to me as well. No limits, no pain, just as much as I could put myself through. In July I bought an exercise bike. I just decided to start with one hour, screw baby steps. That's not me you'll come to find out! Every day I got on the bike and poured sweat and just pushed. I loved the freedom, I loved the sweat, the swinging of my legs the blood rushing in my ears, that runner's high. I quickly became a machine.
These days I pump out rides at 25+ mph pace, or sweat out 50 miles in a sitting, just over 2 hours. This is what the bike has done for me. In September I started to get a lot more serious about nutrition. I got on the idea of macros and since then I have been steadily dialing them in. I've sucessfully reverse dieted from 1200 calories a day to 1600. I've added bodyweight strength training 3+ nights a week. But more about that stuff in a later post. I feel better about myself knowing that I gave my all every day. I'm not where I want to be yet and sometimes I still see that 196 lb. girl staring back at me in the mirror. Today I'm a 151 lb. woman and 6 weeks from now I'm going to be 6 weeks worth of hardwork better than I was today.
In the 8 months since I decided to change my life, I have dropped 45 lbs and picked up some serious noob gains on top of old hockey mass. Strongest parts are quads, calves, and triceps. Weakest areas, core and thighs, biceps, lower back. I'm still cutting. I've narrowed quite a bit around my ribs and extremeties. I still have quite a bit of loose stomach and thighs, expecting to have some extra skin problems there when it comes down to the bare bones of it.
I've never known my body fat percentage. And Ive never tried to guess cause I know it would be terribley off. I'd like someday to know, for me all I need to know now is that I want it lower. My goal before bulking is a bodyweight of 130.
I'm ready to do this!"The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and we reach it." Michelangelo

Friday Dec 6th
Another chilly one today on the bike. High 20's, low 30's. Had to throw on extra layers, and will still need to buy some heavier work out clothes for mornings like these. Now I know some of you in canada, hell even the midwest are telling me to suck it up but I'm a Californian with a bum thyroid. The cold cripples me for just a bit, takes me a few minutes of pedaling to really warm up at all. Still, a good 20 min go this morning. Not very far off PR pace, not bad for a below freezing morning!
20:04 minutes, 8.75 miles
Tonight featured Day 26 of Max Capacity Training. Full details are here: (http://www.maxcapacitytraining.com/)
Exercises and Scores
Crocodile Pushups: 42
Deck Squats: 39
1 leg wall squat: 174
Jack Knives: 39
Per round of 4 (plus extra final set reps):
10 (+2)
9 (+3)
43s (+2)
9 (+3)
Total Time: 13:59
Happy with this workout especially given the circumstances of my eating window today. Was a little depleted but a strong workout none the less. Cant wait to see what the supps help do for that as well. Enjoying crocodile push ups, not so much deck squats. Final cycle (3 weeks) starts next week.
**This is a beginning of the log tidbit of info. Max Capacity Training is a body weight circuit program that works on a hiit/tabata principle for short demanding workouts. It is a 12 week program, 3x a week plus extra work I throw in when I feel like it. I am rapidly approaching the completion of this program and will be weighing my options between altered allpros or other options. I do cardio 6 days a week. Usually a 20 minute session in the morning sometimes an additional session as well after I get home from work ranging from 20 minutes to an hour or more. I occasionally bike a half century (50 miles) in one sitting. I also like to throw in other forms of cardio such as short walks with my dog and a couple other things.**
Macros and Nutrition
Had planned on fasting until 12PM but was caught up grocery shopping and fixing my car, as well as rounding up pictures for this morning. My first food didnt pass my lips until 2:30 PM. That's not normal for me, and neither is how off my macros will be for today, but for starting reference in this log current macros are:
Calories: 1600 max
Protein: 145g
Fats: 65-75g
Carbs: Under 100g (I tend to prefer in the 70-80 range)
**This is beginning of the log info. Broke a plateau on lower carbs. Have noticed slight energy dip but not too drastic, supps will help as well! Proteins and fats help keep me full. Macros seem pretty standard by my guesstimation. I try to eat a lot of unprocessed foods but I largely abide by IIFYM, regardless of how limiting my macros tend to be. I greatly enjoy cooking new recipes that taste great and are macro friendly. I share food porn and recipes near daily. I especially like baking with whey and want to get some cellucor in my life for said purpose.**
I had tried out a new low carb microwave brownie recipe tonight (not a creation of my own, suggestion from the keto thread) and was eager to show it to you guys but it was a total dud, undercooked and bitter. No thank you.
Ending Macros for the day are:
Calories: 1,347
Protein: 137g
Carbs: 89g
Fats: 51g
Did make a killer turkey meat loaf. Macros per slice:
178 Cal 28.7pro/9.4gcarb/2.6gfat
Not a stellar day macros wise, missed the mark a bit because I over fasted and mangled my eating window. Plus them brownies..... ewh. More typical day tomorrow. Meat loaf was good though. Good meat loaf was good.
Pooped, but already dreaming about tomorrow's cardio...and hoping the mail man comes soon!
Thanks for the support everyone!
