You want a straight answer but we literally can't. It's against the rules here to give advice on supplements to users under 18. There is no reason for you to take one and 80% of your results is from your diet anyways. With your choice in sport I would bulk and lift heavy and if you want to drop a little weight I would do a light cut. You still have your parents money to eat really well so it's a great chance to start proper dietary and training habits to continue when you're independent. If you don't want to hear advice from people don't ask do the research yourself.

Congrats on the ability to play football for Ball State, that'll be a blast. I played baseball and football at the University of Florida
Anyway, to your question, I can't recommend anything as far as thermogenics are concerned. There is too much of a liability if you take it and something happens. Your body is a fat burning machine now, all you need to do is adjust your diet and training. If you got into any FBS school your training should be fine, so it's really your diet you need to change. Regardless on if you take (or not) a thermogenic, nothing will work unless you eat well. 20 pounds at your age/weight will be easy to lose. In two and a half months you can easily lose that weight without starving yourself.
I'd recommend visiting the nutrition and fat loss sections here.
Good luck and congrats

This op, if you want my opinion on fat burners, most suck, and most of the good ones aren't around anymore. They suppress your appetite and you end up skipping meals, yea you can loose weight but in the end I always felt like I loose muscle on them. That's just my opinion, listen to the advice above for best results.

OTC "fat burners" are very marginal in any circumstance depending on diet.
Eat at a caloric deficit and then work on your conditioning and it'll come off. They are by no means necessary. Mainly for appetite suppression and alertness.Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.
