I'm going to be going to a university in about 2 years and was just wondering if any of you guys have experience with bodybuilding whilst living at college. Im currently in community college doing a transfer program. My main question is if it's likely that ill still have access to grocery stores to buy clean food or is your life going to be totally consumed with college? I know how to eat clean on a budget by just buying the important things in bulk.

Strong this^
As you can clearly see from his AVI Lee quit school at the ripe young age of 14 to pursue his dream physique.
His time now consists of washing food before consumption and 30 sets of 10 on the bench press.
Me on the other hand, I was an idiot. Graduated first before pursing my physique goals...USMC (2009-2013)

Let me ask you this.
Why would you not be able to grocery shop/cook your own food just because you're in school?
Because you're going to be a little busy with classes and homework?
So what...if you are dedicated to seeing results you'll put in the time/effort required.USMC (2009-2013)

College was the easiest time I ever had training. I set my class schedule with gaps to ensure that even with a full course load and a job I worked 30+ hours a week I never missed a gym session. Food was easy too. Big shake for breakfast. Big meal for lunch and then a big meal when I got home from work.

OP, don't listen to these unknowledgable clowns. You don't need to worry about eating clean in college. If you need to live off dirty foods that's ok. Just make sure you stock up on Dawn to make your food clean. I suggest start stocking up now, because as more and more people enter college the worlds supply of food cleaning agents is running out. I have faith you can handle both school and eating. You've got this, bro. Stay strong brother!

It's actually easy as fuk to eat clean at the cafeteria. Always unlimited amount of greens and some kind of baked protein. Just stay away from the daily burger and pizza...also the main thing that causes people to get out of shape at college is drinking a chit ton every week

Sorry we didn't coddle you. You can do whatever the hell you want. It's your choice as to what you put your time towards. I worked full-time and graduated with a ~3.9 as a double major. Training 5-6x/week and now do the same(minus ft work) in my graduate studies.
People are unhealthy everywhere. Just because people are unhealthy in college doesn't mean you have to be. Most people's priorities consist of drinking and partying more than the gym and cooking. Although if you need to be coddled maybe you will struggle because no one is gonna hold your hand and help you cook or train or manage your time.

Sorority girls are the worst. 100% srs. Been there, done that. No thanks, Jeff. They're great if you are into the drinking every chance you get, get in stupid fights nightly, cry at least every time they get drunk sorta thing. Unless you're on a strictly Greek campus then I'd look elsewhere.
Great to party with because parties swarming with sexy females is always a good time. Good if you're into random hookups(although then this becomes a big mess and all their friends will end up hating you and you'll have burned your good party bridge). Relationship? Pass. Then again, if you're a partying frat boy then you guys will be two peas in a pod, albeit an alcoholic and dysfunctional pod.
They are better once they get a little older, though. Most have that good mix of priorities and still have a little fun.

I'm in college now and they offer a variety of healthy foods. Or, if you can afford to live in your own apartment off campus the better off you are. Some schools offer small kitchens in their dorm common areas. The only thing you would have to probably do is buy a mini fridge. Time wise; I myself have a 4 hour break each day to do cardio (laps around the entire campus) with a backpack loaded with my class books and other heavy items that are just their to add weight. If you can't hit the gym for some ungodly reason, improvise. For example, you want a good cardio/leg work out; Run up and down the stairs in a building at school! Anyhow, it's not hard unless you make it hard on yourself! Good luck!
The best motivator in life is yourself.
