Without any offence or sarcasm, I giggled a bit.
As Unbiasedfan stated, the first picture is morphed, how could you have taught Arnold was bigger than Ronnie, let alone the taught of the terrible scaling being legitimate.

It also depends on the judging. If the judges penalize on guts (and they seemed to do so more back in the day - hence Mike Menzter rightfully placing 4th at the 1980 Mr. Olympia), then competitors have an incentive to keep their core under control *in the pursuit to win*

You didn't write anything in that post and by posting a picture you thought was a validation to your point, you approve the content of this picture and what it represents.

But it's ok, I get your point though.

That picture represents how fine and chiselled like a statue Arnold is. Yet how crazily big and full Ronny is. I did not post it to make the point Arnold was bigger (which he isnt)

You'd have to think i was a fool to think i thought Arnold was bigger than 285lb 4% Coleman.

In the first picture you posted, Arnold is photoshopped and difference in quality is too apparent.

Nothing beats the bodybuilders from the '70s and '80s, up to the early '90s. The era when you'll be proud to be called a bodybuilder. Think of Lee Labrada.
    "Optimum Nutrition fan and endorser."

If Arnold Schwarzenegger is the heart of bodybuilding, Joe Weider is the soul. If Arnold Schwarzenegger is the king of bodybuilding, Joe Weider is the God.

Been into bodybuilding since 1991, non-stop and constant.

I looked 10 years younger for my age the day I turned 33. The pattern remains the same every year. But I want to look 80 like Sean Connery.

I practice science, art, sport and philosophy, therefore, I'm a bodybuilder.

I m a big fan of the early to mid 2000`s, especially the Ronnie vs Jay battles. Freakishness at its finest, plus its the most mass-monster heavy era ever in bodybuilding.

I once made a pic of Lee Labrada vs Ronnie to make fun of all the "photoshopped posedown" idiots.

If it's not a picture of two bodybuilders ON THE SAME STAGE NEXT TO EACH OTHER I don't even want to see it. Photoshopped posedowns are super unreliable and you can make anyone look better than anyone.

[edit] even actual side-by-side comparisons can be misleading sometimes. Sometimes it's ambiguous as to whether someone's fully flexed or relaxing a bit.
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

Not all of them are bad.

This one is probably the most accurate ever made.
