I'm just starting out with using protein. I would like to get something that is refreshing after I work out. Taste is kind of a big factor for me, I would also like to be able to find it in GNC.

No offense, But we don't support GNC here.. You're getting ripped off.
I'd get a blend off here
Phase8
xf 2.0

I think GNC is an overall good franchise aside from prices of course. Not just saying this because I work at a GNC but I can assure you that the advice I give to people in store and the advice my other employees give to our customers are true and valid advice to benefit the well being of the people coming in. Of course if you go into any business, the people working want to make money. No difference in GNC or any other retailer store. I love working at GNC and can see why you look down on GNC employees or GNC branding, but not all GNC employees give crap advice. Some employees care for individuals health and well being. Its great being apart of BB.com for BB.com has great members that give true advice I try to share while working at GNC.

OP the best tasting protein shake that I have used is hands down syntha 6. This comes at a price for the protein level is not as high as a gold standard but if you are looking to bulk this will do the trick. Syntha 6 is a blended protein but if you want somthing thats is okay in taste IMO, get ON gold standard or ISO 100 by dymatize. I have used all 3 mentioned above and have seen cleaner more refined results using a lower fat and carb whey protein isolate. Also make sure diet and rest are both in check before being concerned about supps. Another thing to consider is that protein shakes are to be looked at as food to reach protein requirments. Hope all this helps!!!
