Set the all-time WR with 2171 @ 242 at the GPC Australian Powerlifting Champtionships with a 843 squat, 518 bench and 810 deadlift back in June 2013.
In September, he lost the WR to Zakhir Hudoyarov's 2204.
Recently regained the WR with his 2210 performance at the PRO RAW V in Melbourne (11/16/13).... 848 squat, 524 bench and 838 deadlift.
Congrats man. Sum awesome lifting. BOSS also holds the 220 WR total without wraps at 2030.

He's an Animal, you wouldn't believe how humble he is to meet irl. Got to catch up with Dan in a 6 hour seminar last Friday which included a tonne of hands on lifting and coaching. Was an awesome experience and one that I'll never forget.

Word on Russian ******** has it that Hudoyarov is going to try to reclaim the record at the GPC Raw Worlds, Dec. 5-8. Hopefully he squats to depth this time.

To be honest, neither Dan nor Hudoyarov are full 242s right now. Zakhir stepped on a scale in the middle of a workout and weighed 237. Dan competed the week before at 220, so if they really bulk up to 250+ and cut to 242 we might see some even more out-of-this-world numbers at 242.

Came in to talk about this. Dan definitely has some space to really fill out a 242 frame. If he can get up to that weight with the level of conditioning he had at 220, a 2300+ total could be possible (we can dream, anyway). Absolutely insane to think about.

That's not what I meant. The man competed at 220 -- that means that he had to cut to that weight at some point. He's clearly carrying more fat around these days when compared to his time as a 220. Which means at 242, unless he has put on 20+lbs of pure muscle in little over a year and the added blub is just an illusion, he still has plenty of potential to fill out a 242 build with raw strength-meat and less blub, nomsayin?

It's pretty crazy how one guy can potentially hold the all time wrapped and non wrapped records at 220 and 242 simultaneously.

Probably dropped a ton of water just for the weigh in though. I saw something on Tv a few weeks ago where an MMA guy had to drop 30 or 40 pounds in a ridiculously short time. He really only lost 10 - 15 pounds through fat loss and the rest was all water he dropped during the last week. Then after the weigh in rehydrated. So that could be what these guys are doing too. Might be worth asking him about it if someone goes to a seminar.
