when i alt tab my GPU temps are going up like nuts, yet ingame they literally drop in temperature by 30 degrees celsius

Did you play/enjoy skyrim? Haven't finished my dl yet but videos looked extremely similar, which didn't seem very good for pvp and **** but, maybe with time you get used to it.

I'm really anticipating Wildstar. From what I've seen THAT gameplay looks fantastically well done.

But then again combat and gameplay was never the strongpoint of any Elder Scrolls game. It was all about exploration and creating your own emergent gameplay. Which... I wonder how well that will actually work in an MMO setting.

Do you even ability? I only left click when oom... and I usually kill stuff before oom.

I know it'll eventually be the filler but I dont see it being a problem.

have played for the past 2 hours, just not feeling it. story is bland and lame so far, world just looks barren, movement feels like elder scrolls series, which is good for those games, but not what you want in an mmo.

apparently they just released another wave of december beta invites for wildstar. that feel when i still have yet to receive one after signing up over 8 months ago

If you get "stuck" talking to npcs type /reloadui in the text box and you should be fine without having to logout. Just FYI.....

Totally let down by this. It really is the Elders Scrolls series/Skyrim, just put into MMO form. While Skyrim's gameplay/combat/movement might work well in a single player setting, it's awful for an MMO. I was expecting something more "WoWish" but in the Elder Scrolls universe, not Skyrim Online. Oh well, Wildstar looks good still.

I think the starting point for that was Tabula Rasa, and it just dropped considerably after that, such a shame to know you're developing a game that isn't going anywhere.

It's like game makers forgot how to actually make a REAL MMO and instead started creating these single-player experiences that just happened to have zones that could hold a few dozen other players.

THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF A GODDAMN MMO YOU RETARD DEVELOPERS! I don't want to play an MMO to hear beautifully scripted voice actors or to be taken through a carefully crafted scenario. I want an MMO to give me the reigns! Give me the tools! Give me the power! Let me and the other REAL people do whatever the fuk we want in the game and CREATE OUR OWN EXPERIENCES.

THAT element is what made Runescape, Ultima Online and to a lesser extent EverQuest so much fun! That element is what made Minecraft such a hit even though it's not really an MMO in a traditional sense.

Stop trying to sell us fuking single player games wrapped in an MMO shell.

i gave it a fair shot, played for an hour... just to see if it would get any better... was forcing myself to play

eventually i fixed my crash issue, then went to another quest and had the same exact issue in another zone and uninstalled
