Wink Should I eat in a caloric surplus?

Iv been looking and can't find out why people eat in a surplus to build muscle or wether I should do it, I don't mind gaining a little fat but will it really be worth it ? Will I build more muscle ? Does anyone know why people do it or is there any science behind it? All people say I'd that u need extra cals to build the muscle but that could be BS because no one seems to provide reason. Sorry for all the questions but can anyone explain ?????????? Thanks

Building muscle takes energy in the same way building a house takes energy. That's why teenagers eat so much because hey are building new tissue including muscle every day. Food has energy in it and thus is required.

    Good luck!
