Miss my Oneplus 6T but the security updates stopped after three years.
With Verizon so Oneplus did not have a lot of good options for their network.
I've had an unlocked Google Pixel 6 for a while now. Speaker is beyond terrible on this phone but Google promises more security updates.

Agreed. This year has been mediocre for phone tech imo. I was ready to upgrade to the 22 ultra but was disappointed in its specs. It was a very minor improvement over the 21 ultra and the processor especially was a hot mess. They fixed the processors for the next line of fold devices that just got announced but in 6 months there will be a brand new upgraded chip. As well as a new camera system which is a welcome change since they have been using the same camera setup in their flagships since the note 20....so 3 years.

I follow cell phone stuff closely, I think the S23 Ultra will be amazing.

The Pixel 6 pro and 7 Pro pushed me back to Samsung after 5 years. The Pixel 3XL was so much better, until it wasn't.

Loving the S22 Ultra so far, the last Samsung device I had was the S7 Active, a beast.

Why Is that? I have been Pixel Master Race since it was Nexus Master Race. The 4 and 5 were a dissapointment for me, but feel they are back on track.

Yep, getting this one. I was telling the S22cels to wait a year due to last year's trash SOC but yall didn't want to listen. Finally upgrading my S10+ is well. Now we get a chip that's years ahead of last year in power and efficiency and we get a new camera module that will stay for the next 3 years or so till we're ready to upgrade again.

Can't wait to have a modern note device. My only complaints are the device didn't change from last year's design and base Ultra hould start at 12GB/256GB. Would have liked my new device to look new.

Only reason I dont wanna upgrade because I've been spending and planning to spend like a douchebag this year ... Already crying because I need to do a cpu/mobo upgrade and I told my gf I'll get the latest iphone for her bday (big mistake when I saw the actual prices lmao fukme)

I agree about being faster and more efficient. I doubt that's going to be noticeable to the average user.

However, the cameras look like a massive upgrade. What I've seen from that 200MP is insane.

I probably wouldn't upgrade from the 22 line, but mine being 4-5 years old this is going to be a ridiculous gain.

Unless you really want a stylus and marginally better photos I'd say nah. 21 ultra is still a beast I would keep that for the next year or two easy man.

Dassit boyo I've played with every flagship since and never felt the need to upgrade my S10+. I was thinking of upgrading last year but when I saw how ass the chip was (throttling, bad thermals, battery hog) I decided to wait for the S23. It's not the most exciting release but the new chip is much better and will give performance and battery closer to a flagship iPhone.

Nah man if you want SD card you gotta buy a mid ranged Samsung like the A series. I have one on my S10+ but honestly I'm fine with losing it because the internal memory of the S23 is blazing fast. This helps a ton, not only with transfer speeds but launching apps.

I went 4 years on my note 10+ with a simple case like this, probably about a thousand drops with no breaks in 4 years. Never had a more durable phone tbh,this thing might as well be the Nokia note 10.

I've been running Otterboxes for a decade and have never had an issue

In college I used to get drunk and let people throw my phone at the floor, the wall, and we ran over it a couple of times with cars. Never had so much as a scratch on them.
