Do they really charge your phone in ~30 minute? I have a Nexus 6p and I'm looking for something that charges my phone faster than a few hours.

Everyone who uses it seems to think so, however, I am not sure if the 6P can use 3.0, but those chargers are backwards compatible with 2.0 as well.

I am not a computer nerd so I could be wrong but my 6P has a fancy new port, USB C I believe, isn't that 3.0?

Yeah it's awesome, I saved up almost $20.00 last year just from quick little surveys, they'll populate more if location is shared based on places you've visited. (privacy trolling). No care, me like free apps

So, I did some more digging, and it turns out, neither the S7/S7E, or 6P, support QC 3.0.

Seems that even though the US version of the S7E is capable, due to it's processor, they locked it to keep it consistent with the S7E phones with the Exy processor.... Gheeeeeey.


Either way, the charger I got is backwards compatible to 2.0, and was only $12, not upset at all, as it's still a better charger than the stock 3ft samsung charger.

Oh, yeah, I knew that. doesn't mean it won't charge a little faster than stock samsung charger though. I get about 2%/minute (little less)with my Note 5 and stock charger.

They did this a week ago too for the S7/S7e. I bought four cases for $13 and didn't like any of them. Kept my black Incipio DualPro on.

Oh, I agree absolutely. Just wanted to clarify for anyone who wasn't aware, that it can;t yet take advantage of QC 3.0, though I am hoping they come out with a firmware update that enables it in the future.




Got my home screen set up for now. Will tweak it later on.

Like that home screen. About the quick charge, I bet the Note will have it. I've read speculation that it wasn't included b/c there are Exynos and Qualcomm chipsets in the different models and they wanted parity between the 2. Rumor is that the Note 6 will all have the same cpu on all variants, so maybe 3.0 will be a possibility.

Incredibly frustrated that the s7e doesn't have an interval photo mode. They even have a photo mode download store but they don't have interval photos? Such a basic setting

edit: adding to this, is there a camera app that allows interval photos that also maintains the excellent native picture/video quality? I downloaded one well rated one and the max picture resolution was 2mp. didn't even utilize the max camera ability. another example is the snapchat camera is absolute dogsht compared to the s7e native camera app

Also, I am mirin the battery life on the S7e so hard. I had a mobile gaming session of 2 hours yesterday while dog sitting, and only dropped a few %. My S4 would have gone from 100% to 40%, at least.

what shocked me even more was how little battery the vr experience uses. I was playing deer hunter for a solid hour and it only took a few %

That is what I read as well, which still seems silly to me. But, I think you are right, and as long as the note has the same CPU across the board, it should have it enabled. I Like the look of the note line, but they are too wide for my taste.

I said the same thing for years, but I bought the Note 5 and I love it. Don't think I could go back to a regular sized device. Have you held a Note 5? The curved back makes it easy and I have tiny hands that I can't even eat a double cheeseburger with.

Hopefully note 6 is tough with the dual glass design (assuming it is). I can't afford to break another 1000$ phone after my note edge.

Definitely gonna invest in a solid case this time around. Just sucks having such an aesthetic device and wrapping it in a fat otterbox or life proof case cause I'm a butterfingers

However, with Gorilla Glass I don't see the point in using those any more. I have slide my phones across my driveway pavement several times and never really experienced a scratch.

Yeah it is, part of the verification process is calling your bank to complete the set-up. Lady I talked to actually said it's more secure than using your debit card. So damn cool. I was giddy

tfw Your bank is not supported by Samsung Pay. Local credit union. I've emailed their IT department and even mentioned it 3 times on a survey I took the other day. It kept asking what we could do to make this or that better I just kept responding Support Samsung Pay. My wife's bank IS supported though. I can't switch though, too much trouble.

How is marshmellow? My Oppo find 7 is rooted, and the creators of the ROM I'm using created a 6.0.1 version of their ROM. Tempted to wipe phone and start over with it.

Currently running crDroid 5.1.1 on my device.
