So a few days with my 6P now, great phone, battery life far exceeds the 6, love Marshmellow so far. My only complaint would be losing a bit of screen size from the 6, yet at the same time the sixe of this phone in the hand or pocket feels much much better. I'd recommend to anyone looking for the latest Nexus device, great upgrade. Now I just need to find a decent case, the Adopted one form the Google stay is GAF.

How about the BB Priv? My last hope for an upgrade is maybe the Lumia 950XL. Still waiting to see it in stores though. They said Dec. If I can't decide, then I'll stay with my Note 4 and wait to see new phones for next year.

Honestly, not a fan of BB or Moto, even though they look good. I would just stay with AT&T and get the S6 Active (s5 active now) but that non SD or removable battery is meh.

Snapdragon 820 was intro'd today, so maybe you're better off holding out for the first crop of 820 phones.

In other news, after like 2 weeks with the 6P, I'm beyond happy. I really didn't think a phone could feel much snappier than my Note 4, but this definitely is. Custom ROMs and kernels are already dropping and I'm back to flashing everything in sight.
The phone feels awesome, but I'm eagerly waiting for the leather dbrand skin I got to arrive so I can slap it on.
Highly recommend this phone.

I switched to Project Fi the day after I got the 6P and the service has been stellar so far (coming from T-Mobile). The only time I don't have service really is at work, but neither Verizon or T-Mobile have had service in my building. T-Mo should be dropping band 12 support in my area soon, so that might change.

If you're asking about ROMs and kernels, I think they're pretty much universal as far as carriers go. Some ROMs may or may not support P-Fi in the future (I don't see why they wouldn't), but each one I've run so far has supported it perfectly fine.

Yeah the 810 is actually one reason I might not go with the Lumia 950XL but still just wanna see it. I dont know what 820 got over Exynos 7420 since it was meant to be released originally this year to compete with 7420. By the time Qualcomm releases 820, Samsung is already on Exynos 8890 for S7. Qualcomm has been playing catchup since 805.

But we'll see. More competition will only benefit us anyway. We will have Snapdragon, Exynos, Tegra and even Mediatek is really making the SoC war really crowded this time.

I swear I'm going to get a credit card that works with Samsung pay just to get a free wireless fast charger. My little local credit union will probably never be supported. Samsung is REALLY shytting the bed with this.

Yeah, just the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Note 5, and Galaxy S6 Edge +.

Yeah right now its still limited to:
- American Express
- Bank of America
- Citi
- U.S. Bank.
- They are currently making the deal with JPMorgan Chase and should be supported really soon.

The the following are said to be getting supported as well in the coming months:
- PNC Bank
- TD Bank
- SunTrust
- Fifth Third Bank
- First Hawaiian
- Key Bank
- Silicon Valley Bank
- Security Service Federal Credit Union
- Navy Federal Credit Union
- Virginia Credit Union
- Associated Bank

You talking about the gift of the season promo? You don't need to activate pay to get it. It's just worded kind of weirdly.

Picked up my Note 5 for 96 cents at Sam's Club pre black Friday sale. Seriously can't believe how cheap it was. One day only sale, I guess they do it every year though. Loving it so far. Stock TW on lollipop is pretty good.

Samsung Pay is awesome. I pulled it out at Target the other night, the cashier told me it wouldn't work and then I blew her mind when I used it


I currently have the Galaxy s6 which I like except it has poverty battery life, thinking of getting a Note 5 for better battery plus I'd use the S pen.

Just read up on it, didn't know it works virtually anywhere. Too bad once Knox is tripped, you can't use it anymore. Also the fact that they don't accept Visa blows.

Thing is, google wallet does the exact same thing but gives WAY more options for the cards and banks that you can use. I've been doing it for years now.

Thing is Google Wallet is no longer for mobile payments, Android Pay is.

Thing is, Android Pay, like Apple pay, only works at places that support NFC payments.

Thing is, thanks to MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission), Samsung Pay pretty much works at all locations where you swipe a credit card.
