How much average total battery life and screen hour do you get? Partial/Initial usage from full recharge doesnt tell us anything. How's your signal strength? Are you on WIFI, GPS, BT etc. There can be a lot of reasons.
You can check your usage in settings/battery to see which apps are consuming more power. Also are you on stock or custom ROM?

Stock note 3. I think it was because of my high use of downloads from 10am till now it's at 74% but yes I do use WI if and I am connected to gps (weather)
Overall I still love this phone. I just downloaded the 1 month free trial of swift key and it's better than the stock keyboard. Also with the note 3 you get 50 GB of Dropbox. I was considering going just uploading all my music to Dropbox instead of my phone through that.Modified PHAT master race

There's a app for a music player that connects to your dropbox I'm not 100% positive on the s4 but I Google the note 3 thing to find out about it. I was hoping I could play movie through dropbox that'd be killer.
If you Can't get the 50 GB for your dropbox, I could give you my dropbox account if you use it. I don't use dropbox much at all. I'd be more than happy I'm just not sure how I'd "give" it to you.Modified PHAT master race

Wifi doesn't really consume that much power but FB, Chrome and especially GPS and Maps does. Why do you have to turn on the GPS for weather? Weather can refresh even if GPS is off and will get updates from network connection.
Any Samsung gadget will qualify you for a 2 yr 50GB Dropbox account. I think they started that since S3 last yr.
If you are using your s-pen for manual writing recognition, try Stylus Beta, best handwriting recog I've ever used.
Yes, my gf got S4 and she got the 50gb. I got 50gb when I bought my Note 2 in Sept last yr.
Like I said, weather updates with GPS off using the location from the network. I only use GPS for navigation when I need to.Last edited by jinda628; 11-21-2013 at 10:28 PM.

I think I'll just buy a other memory card for my music the Dropbox music player is not pretty at all. I'm hoping you can steam dropbox movie to your phone via a movie player.Modified PHAT master race

If you have videos saved in dropbox, you can use any file manager (I use ES explorer) to connect to DB and browse the video file. Click it then it will open choices on what video player you want to use. It usually plays from any of the ones I have on my phone.
It will play, it will just need time to stream at the beginning if you have normal to bad 4G/LTE signal. I haven't tried playing them directly from a video player, I always open them from ES.Steam - jinda28

You mirin G2 battery? I had a cold so I spent a good couple of hours last night making my home screen while resting.
Managed to finish it just as the battery ran out and I decided to check out the screen on time cause I also used the phone ALL DAY.
Just hit 7 HOURS of screen time, easily besting my previous record holder Note 2.
Also this is the home screen that came out of those 2 hours :P

This
I average full charge down to 5% is 14 hours typically on the note 3. But I did order off amazon 2 extra batteries and a battery charger. Best 18 dollars I could spend.
I doubt I even plug my phone much anymore since I'll have a battery charger and 2 extra battery'sModified PHAT master race

Yea I use an app that controls auto brightness but it doesn't make it go "extra dim". I use it for the flexibility and quicker response.
I do a lot of reading on my phone (ebooks, browsing etc) and having the screen adjust appropriately makes a big difference in eye strain.

Everything on that screen is made from default LG launcher that came with the phone srs. If you have the same phone I'll explain how I made it.Keeping it within.

i dont have it but im a phone nerd and have played with all the phones and know everything about it
pros- large 5.2inch screen compacted into body of normal 5 inch phone
-screen looks amazing
-performance is good(as with all snapdragon 800 phones)
-camera is very good 13mp with optical image stabilization. also many other features people rarely mention like 60fps 1080p and manual focus with pictures
-battery is next level. any body who has the phone will tell you the battery is great.
cons- plasticy build but still solid - i would get a case
-speakerphone is not that great but not bad
-no sd card slot/removable battery
- LG user interface is not the best(can install 3rd party launcher and apps to help)HATERS TRYIN TO DEPLETE MY SHINE LIKE VENETIAN BLINDS, BUT SON DO WHAT THE SUN DO RISE┌П┐(◣_◢)┌П┐
