lots of my family are apple incels and the pics they get on the iPhone 14 pros blow my S10+ away

excited for more storage, better cameras, better processors, and longer battery life

Yep, getting this one. I was telling the S22cels to wait a year due to last year's trash SOC but yall didn't want to listen. Finally upgrading my S10+ is well. Now we get a chip that's years ahead of last year in power and efficiency and we get a new camera module that will stay for the next 3 years or so till we're ready to upgrade again.

Can't wait to have a modern note device. My only complaints are the device didn't change from last year's design and base Ultra hould start at 12GB/256GB. Would have liked my new device to look new.

Only reason I dont wanna upgrade because I've been spending and planning to spend like a douchebag this year ... Already crying because I need to do a cpu/mobo upgrade and I told my gf I'll get the latest iphone for her bday (big mistake when I saw the actual prices lmao fukme)

I agree about being faster and more efficient. I doubt that's going to be noticeable to the average user.

However, the cameras look like a massive upgrade. What I've seen from that 200MP is insane.

I probably wouldn't upgrade from the 22 line, but mine being 4-5 years old this is going to be a ridiculous gain.

Unless you really want a stylus and marginally better photos I'd say nah. 21 ultra is still a beast I would keep that for the next year or two easy man.

Dassit boyo I've played with every flagship since and never felt the need to upgrade my S10+. I was thinking of upgrading last year but when I saw how ass the chip was (throttling, bad thermals, battery hog) I decided to wait for the S23. It's not the most exciting release but the new chip is much better and will give performance and battery closer to a flagship iPhone.

Nah man if you want SD card you gotta buy a mid ranged Samsung like the A series. I have one on my S10+ but honestly I'm fine with losing it because the internal memory of the S23 is blazing fast. This helps a ton, not only with transfer speeds but launching apps.

Mane, I'm skeptical with this olive/mossy green that looks like grey in highlights. I have 48 ultras coming in a few days to sell to my clients.

I went 4 years on my note 10+ with a simple case like this, probably about a thousand drops with no breaks in 4 years. Never had a more durable phone tbh,this thing might as well be the Nokia note 10.

I went 4 years on my note 10+ with a simple case like this, probably about a thousand drops with no breaks in 4 years. Never had a more durable phone tbh,this thing might as well be the Nokia note 10.

I've been running Otterboxes for a decade and have never had an issue

In college I used to get drunk and let people throw my phone at the floor, the wall, and we ran over it a couple of times with cars. Never had so much as a scratch on them.

Lavendar is out, black is boring. So it was between cream and barf green.

@ cases, its a new ultra, you're gonna want to be watching media on it, and sometimes doing video calls so a kickstand is a must.

I've used Spigen cases for 10 years or so now, never an issue. I just hate bulky bricks.

Someone already did a drop test and the screen broke quite easily. I'd highly suggest a case. Otterbox commuter has been my go-to but I think I want a kickstand. Those come in super handy

Really smooth and really nice. Gotta get used to the new phone feel, the buttons are on the opposite side as my old one.

I decided not to just copy my old phone over completely since I had it for 4 years and didn't really do much maintenance with deleting apps and stuff. So now I can just install stuff I'm actually using.

Dude, it's legit the best Android device I have ever seen, and I've seen all the big releases. Impressive showing from Samsung thanks to those TSMC fabbed chips. I was telling miscers in this exact thread last year to hold the line, dont buy the poverty S22 ultra and wait a year for the TSMC chips lmao. RIP to those who didn't listen, TSMC is the PS5 of Android chips

I put it on light performance mode and it's still blazing fast and you get a huge increase in battery life. Try it out if you haven't, I'd say it's the first thing you do out of the box, and also put the screen display on the highest resolution.

And yeah, take some pics brah, show the ****ots ITT what's up with this phone. I blew several people's minds with the zoom cam, it's better than the 22 ultra I swear. I also blew minds with the S pen gestures. People didn't know you can use gestures with the pen to navigate the phone from a few feet away.

I have Nova prime but I won't run it on this phone. I am so pleased with One UI 5.1. First of all, Nova is consuming alot of battery, which is a highlight of the phone. No Bueno. One UI now has so many great features, including most of the things I used with Nova in the past. It's also the stock launcher, and it looks and runs more polished than Nova.

This phone to me is all about simplicity, efficiency and performance. I'm gonna stick with One UI, and customize with an icon pack from Galaxy store. Also, check out KWGT widgets, you can build some really cool ones.
