2 week user of HTC One. Used a bunch of different phones my friends had, and tested some others out. Been looking for a guide on how to root a Verizon HTC One, but I can only guides for the Sprint and At&t version. Can someone help me out?

Go over to XDA forum for the Verizon One to see if they have a exploit to get you rooted.

I have a One, but with AT&T so although there the same on the outside, internally they're different.

my third phone this year(htc one and iphone 5), blows them both out of the water

I haven't modified my HTC One but it's pretty easy (so I've heard).

This program will give you an unlocked bootloader, s-off, and root for your Verizon HTC One device.

Hey guys hoping to get some faster help than I got on xda. I have a sgs3 and it was rooted until I got an AT&T ota update to 4.1.2. I tried rerooting but it won't work. Anyone have any ideas?

To my brahs who use Swiftkey, anyone notice any problems with since they last updated the app? 4.2 was so smooth, no problems whatsoever. Ever since they updated the keyboard to 4.3, the keyboard response is slower (I type pretty fast but sometimes it can't keep up), and it occasionally fails to load.

Might downgrade to 4.2 again

got the search update then installed the launcher shortcut apk now have the GEL on my s3

If you are running at least 4.1 install this http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23212708291677093 after you update search and you will have the google launcher includes the ok google function.

The GEL is overrated IMO. Yeah it has the persistent google now on the left and the "okay, google" search but that's where the good ends. The icons are too big, can't set a default screen, no icon pack support, minimal customization. I can easily create a search shortcut on Nova launcher.

Meh, I loved it. Always was a fan of the AOSP look and I love the swipe left for Google Now. To each his own though. That's what make Android great, you can make it look like however you want it.

4.4 GPE edition for the One tomorrow if HTC's original plans are correct. If it does come out with will work with any One that 's unlocked except those on Verizon and Sprint.
