What do you guys think of this? Seems like a step in the right direction to me. I get that more people will be on it and it means more $ for drug company but it also seems logical to look at other factors besides just LDL

I'm not debating efficiency in a select group. I'm debating the benefits of the revised guidelines, which are dramatically broader than your reply would indicate. In fact, they're so astonishingly broad that 30% of the entire adult population is now eligible for statin therapy.
