Hi guys,
First off, big thanks to Formutech Nutrition for choosing me!
This will be a 30-day, sponsored supplement log on Formutech Nutrition's new joint formula, Flexible.
A little about me.
- 20 years lifting experience
- Have had knee problems my entire life.
- At 18, I had the ACL and miniscus cartilage in my right knee repaired.
- At 34, I was just diagnosed with frickin' osteoarthritis in my right knee. MRI revealed moderate to severe wearing of the cartilage. Bone on bone in a couple places, and bruising of the bone too.
- And that makes getting my pro card in natural bodybuilding all the more difficult.
So...I have no expectations for a natural product like this to improve such a severe condition, but it would be nice to be surprised. I also have some minor pain in my left shoulder. So throughout this log I'll be monitoring both my right knee and left shoulder for improvements in the following areas.
- Range of motion
- Pain reduction
Formutech stated that I'll be amazed at how well this kicks in within 10 days and by day 30, so we'll see! And I will be using the recommended 4 caps in the morning, 4 caps with lunch.
So, here we go! The formula looks awesome with all of the ingredients being very well dosed.

LOL! Yeah, the knee is pretty bad man. It hurts just to walk up the stairs. LOL! As I was walking up the stairs the other day, my wife said to me, "God baby, you look old walking up the stairs!" LOL! Ugh....
Right now, the focus is on figuring out what I can, and what I can't, do, and simply letting the ingredients in Flexible build up in my body. So far, squats, leg presses, lunges...any of those compound movements are out of the question. Even body weight squats hurt. Leg extensions are really the only exercise I can do (at the moment) for quads. Calves I can go all out on. Same goes for hamstrings, inner thighs, and hips.
As far as mobility goes, lots of stretching is in the game plan. And fast footwork in and out of an agility ladder feels great, too. No pain there.
But I'm really thankful for the opportunity to try this product out. The ingredient profile is straightforward and properly dosed. Can't ask for anything else.

Day 10 Update
Well, today is day 10 for me. I started on Sunday, November 10th. Got the log up a couple days after.
Subjectively, I feel as though there is slightly improved stability in the knee. Prior to this, my right knee felt very shaky. Now, this could be due to a strengthening of the tissues from the leg extensions, hamstring curls, inner thigh work, etc. But I had been doing those exercises prior to starting Flexible, so it's possible that Flexible is helping to improve that feeling of stability in my knee...like the foundation of my knee isn't about to give way like it used to feel.
Another thing I'm noticing is a reduction in pain at this point. Walking up stairs, it felt like somebody was sticking a knife in my knee. Very sharp pains. But now, the intensity of that sensation is starting to decline. The pain has definitely dulled.
So, so far, so good And I'm optimistic for the next 20 days!

Day 16 Update
Raigs, you're absolutely right. Flexible is continuing to get better and better.
While researching osteoarthritis, I came across an interesting fact. It said, for every 1 pound you lose, you reduce 4lbs of pressure on your knee. Well, I carry my little boy upstairs after bath time each night. He weighs 30lbs, which according to that tid bit of info, adds an extra 120lbs of pressure to my knee.
Well, I'm really feeling like my right knee is structurally getting stronger. For the longest time, when walking up the stairs, I have been doing one step at time, stepping up only with my left leg, and then bringing my right leg up. But last night I noticed that I could walk up the stairs (while carrying him) like a normal person. Sure, there was a little pain, but nothing like before.
My left shoulder too is feeling better. Range of motion has improved, and exercises that used to bother it no longer seem too.
So, I'm very happy with the results so far

Day 24 Update
Hey guys, just checking in for another update.
Overall, things are going pretty good. While there hasn't been much change to report since my last update, my right knee is still feeling like it has a sturdier foundation. And that's a good feeling to have.
As I mentioned before, walking up the stairs has gotten easier, and the pain I felt while doing so has been reduced. However, long walks do still tend to leave my right knee feeling a little achy.
Still haven't tried doing any squats, leg presses, or lunges to test it out. But at this point, I don't want to do any more damage than there already is.
I've gotta say, for 24 days, I'm very satisfied with the improved stability that I'm feeling, and I will have a full review up when the bottle is empty!

What kind of knee surgery did you have?
Yeah man, air squats feel really good now, and they didn't before starting Flexible! Haha!
And speaking of squats, it kills me to hear people whining about leg day and squatting. I'd give so much just to be able to do an all-out leg day once again. I guess you rarely realize what you have until you don't have it any longer.
