My boyfriend and I are taking creatine, and trying to be careful to up our water intake while doing so. We're wondering if tea and coffee count towards water intake, and if tea counts, does it matter if the tea is green, black, or non-caffeinated tea?

I don't count coffee toward water consumption, bit I habitually consume 1+ gallon of water, so it probably doesn't matter. YMMV.
