So are we still pretending that FSU would challenge Bama?

Im still on the fence about Manziel in the NFL. A lot of what makes him special will not work consistently in the NFL. All the spinning out eluding defenders in the backfield and throwing across his body to Mike Evans in double coverage 30 yards down the field will be stopped. I think he'll get beat up playing the way he does now at his size. With that being said if he 1) matures and 2) gets drafted into the right system with a coach/Coordiantor who will move the pocket around and allow him to make quick decisions he'll be a very good QB. Chip Kelly and Josh McDaniels are the only 2 that I think could mold him the right way (not ask him to do it all).
I don't think Mettenberger would be a bad QB option for the right team, I think he's a better fit for more teams than Manziel because of his armstrength and propensity to not get dinged. Again though, unfortunately I think he'll go to a team that will throw him out there before he learns the ways of the NFL and playbook. I also believe a lot of what he's doing is because of Beckham and Landry. I would like to see what Trestman would do with him but they don't need a QB, Arians could be the guy.Last edited by GrecoRoman; 11-09-2013 at 09:31 PM.

I thought it was just me, but man do they really have a hard on for Bama. Verne sounded downright disappointed at every LSU first down, and was ecstatic whenever Bama did something. I'm sure every announcer has some form of favoritism, but I would think they would try to minimize it on the air.

On the way to Bryant-Denny Stadium, I said that the score would be (Bama) 38-17 (LSU)
Roll Tide Roll.
It was another great time at Bama home games. I usually go to every one. I got to go down to the field after the game, and saw McCarron trot back out there.
