Good point there old sport. I'll start whenever I feel the urge to do so. I do not think that the learning curve is huge for everyone. I believe it depends on several factors: level of self confidence, self esteem, mindset towards life in general, prior knowledge, etc.
I have been lurking on the Misc for a while now. I have accumulated a lot of knowledge and advice from many posters here. Sure I have not put it in practice yet but I am confident that I will be just fine. Most of this is common sense anyway. Sure, emotions can cloud your judgement, I am no exception, but for the most part I am a level headed and rational person.

Traditional route site.
Walk up to women and say "hello" site.
Network with every man and woman (at work, at a local public library, at a neighborhood coffee shop, at a grocery store you regularly visit, everywhere you regularly go to, it works) you know site. Networking and your general reputation as a person in the community makes a huge difference. Nowadays, I can't believe how much everyone is relying heavily on cell phones, WhatsApp, and texting, and their use is increasing every passing day.
P.S.
Of course, you need to look clean and look good and put your best food forward when you get a chance to speak to a woman.
All online dating sites and Tinder are a huge waste of time, when it comes to finding LTRs. Been there, tried them before.

https://flawlessdating.com/ is the best dating site I've used. There were enough people/singles to talk to, the features were cool and it's quite a safe site.

Okcupid in my opinion is the best dating site. I had more luck with this site than any other. My friend wrote a review about it at fckme dot org (Can't seem to add the exact link here). You can search 'okcupid' on the website and you'll find it. Anyways, he stopped using OkCupid though after he had a couple of relationships there.

If you want quality girls, I say Hellotalk. The app is mostly for exchanging languages but the people on there is wholesome. You can meet people as friends at first, and they can match you up with their friends. If you're interested in learning new languages too, this would be a plus.
Another app would be tiktok, just shoot your shot there. It is a bit strange but I'm sure you might find someone spontaneously. Both route have been known to be successful in its own rights if you do it correctly."Become Better You - Physically and Mentally"

What's funny is on Bumble many women just do the handwave emoji or hi instead of writing a real proper sentence. WTF. And they complain about guys doing it on Tinder.
I don't give a chit because I often get 10+ matches a day. So I just write back "?" or "hello" (if they wrote hi) and wait to see if they send anything more.
