yea boyo i got the early access thing for Forza Horizon 5, so it included the two dlc's that will come out (the hot wheels, then whatever comes next).

It was like $40 since I have game pass.

will probably play As Dusk Falls before the hot wheels dlc though

Gotta love game pass. I'm glad microsoft is giving us an interesting story type game where your actions/choices dictate the future of the story. Love those types of games!

Boy I hope they don't screw the pooch on Starfield.. looks very promising

Finished Tunic a week or so ago. Epic exploration, rewarding puzzles, ferocious enemies, and it is zelda inspired yes, but this indie game is an action adventure title that ends up being so much more than just that. Little Fox goes on one big quest for sure! Some areas and a few Strong bosses will become unforgiving soon. So be ready. It’s charming graphically, but it’s challenging soon enough, I can’t say enough it’s like one of the best games I played this year.

One I’m on now is “nobody saves the world” which you’re a shape shifter it’s shaping up to be a solid indie title in the books.

Also doing it up in shredders revenge with a few good friends.

As Dusk Falls reminds me of those story games from PS (Until Dawn, etc )

Man, the enemies are ferocious, I haven't even beat the first boss. It's hard enough dodging the attacks, gotta beat his little minion and then face off against the main boss. He has two attacks, but the forward stab gets me every time. It's harder than I thought. It's like a mini souls game if you will lol. The graphics are good on your eyes. Man Shredders Revenge is fun as fukk! Just got to level 5 and it's a really fun game.

yea im hopeful for it. Playground Games has been working on a Fable Reboot since sometime in 2018 or 2019. They are the devs of the Forza Horizon series.

the seasonal stuff is just the "live service" aspect. The non seasonal races are what gets you into the championship races. I THINK that's how it was laid out.

With FH5 it's laid out a little easier. There is, for example a "cross country "cup"" and a "street racing "cup"". Doing the non-seaonal races will give you points to unlock special events (such as a super long final cross country event) in each of those "cups" or "event types". But still, there really isn't an ending to the game.

I think I already am at that part of the championship races. I got into an event and if I try to do another type of race it tells me i'll lose my progress. Regardless this is a very very fun game srs. It grew one me. Somewhat has helped me get used to driving different cars/heavier cars (srs) especially going fast af

not every racing game needs to aim for realistic physics.

Mario isnt a good platformer because they aim for realistic jumping physics. It's a good platformer because it's fun. Forza Horizon is considered a good game because it's fun (to most people who dont blindly hate on anything xbox)

He's just salty because gran turismo 7 was so bad they won't even use it for esports competition anymore. Replaced by assetto corsa. LOL.

Forza has semi realistic graphics with real cars, mixed with trashcade casual physics designed for children to pick up and play.
Both GT7 and ACC offer far more realistic physics requiring high levels of skill to master.

it makes sense for Forza Horizon because its an Arcade style racing Game. hell, the dlc is floating islands in the sky with hot wheels tracks, some of which are anti gravity.

And the more realistic a games physics is, doesnt mean the more "for adults" it is.

Yea, GT7 is much closer to a racing sim...... therefore, gasp, has more realistic physics!!!! Your complaints make no sense. Uncharted 4 has "realistic graphics" but is outlandishly unrealistic in what it's characters do.

Thanks to gamepass ^ I played that game ... It's really fun, though I havnt gone back to it. Just patiently waiting for Plague 2 to release .... Not sure if I want to get it on the box or pc though. Will probably wait for a comparison video to see how big of a difference there is between masterace and xbox - Though if sony has good haptic stuff I may get it on that.

Been playing a bunch of gamepass games on Series X HDR with game optimizer mode on my OLED and it's insane. My PC can't even do this i don't think. I Like how you calibrate the hdr settings through the xbox and then the games either run through auto HDR on that setting or the newer games are made with HDR in mind. It's mind blowing. The games literally look like real life because of the wider color gamut and contrast between the really bright and dark areas.
