Loving this so far...but in the end it's gonna be all about the games.

xbox fitness is really a neat feature. My gf gonna put that to good use.

Xbone is working perfectly...ryse is bad ass...tv integration is sick

Only complaint are these god damn install times...been installing ghosts for 30 minutes now... it's only at 50% and won't let me start playing yet

Sorry, trying to get excited, I only work 10 days between now and Jan 2nd. I'd love to be excited about a couple next gen games, just not seeing anything good, yet consumers are carrying on about how great these new systems are.

But have you seen Titanfall?

The only game for the One that got my excited was Below (Indie title). Quantum Break could be interesting but we've seen like 4 seconds of gameplay and don't really know what it is. If you like FPS games then you'll get Halo, the Black Tusk game.

Haven't seen Titanfall. Will look into it. When does it come out?

I am with you. It's hard to throw down $500 for something that will give you more control of your TV at this point. BF4 is the only thing I am interested in, but that game is broken on many levels across the board at this point.

Not gonna buy an XB1 until next year.

Well, I thought the trouble people were giving MS was stupid. But now there is a system with no good games and that so far seems inferior to PS4 graphics wise, at least early on.

With that said, PS4 has it's shortcomings as well, and I might still might end up with an xbone but I see no reason to have one now. For what? So I can control my TV through Kinect? lol, gimmick please.

Not sure why the fk anyone would be excited to get a new console right now..not even any good exclusives.
Besides possibly dead rising 3.
Same thing with ps4.

Also when the kinect came out it was being trash talked by most 360 fans in the 360 thread, now everybody changing, their mind on it, *******s.
I always thought it was really cool tech and was happy when people started hacking and getting it to work for the ps3.

Tech-wise I think that we will see that the XB1 will be able to do stuff with graphics that the PS4 cannot. That is because of DirectX. But that is down the road. And that is just my gut-feeling.

Right now, there is no incentive to get either machine unless you are one of the ones that has to have it first. Dead Rising and Ryse don't have much weight with me to draw me in. I say let the game library build on both machines before rushing out to get one. I don't need another machine to watch TV on.

The only complaint about the controller I have is I'm not a huge fan of the new RB/LB buttons and I hate that they're used prominently in the Killer instinct controls. I found myself pressing them closer to the end(more the RB) and not having it pick up the press cuz it's so long that a tap on the very end doesn't seem to register all the way.

Small gripe though. Feels nice everywhere else.

Also not gonna lie....already kinda bored of Ryse

I agree with the RB/LB. I used to press them at the ends, I will have to get used to that. I do like the controller a lot though



so far DR3 has been very fun, no issues at all and graphics look great.

I got Ghosts and AC4 as well. My buddy talked me into getting it. I love the genre just sucks that they couldn't have made it more fun to play. It's a gorgeous game though.

yeah, i love medieval games as well. elder scrolls games, hnng. dragon age and the witcher seem like they could be similar.

Ryse had potential, too bad.

I want Ryse anyway, I know it's a Crytek game which is all visuals but boring gameplay but I love that historical time period too damn much and all I wanna do is play a Roman hack n slash.

its like battlefield but more visceral, and with swords and all kinds of weapons..

one of the funnest games ive ever played and it cost like 7 bucks.
none of that quick time stuff either

That's absolutely unreal that I cant even use headphones to hear my damn games. This means i'll barely be able to play it until head phones come out b/c my sons bedroom is right next to my office. Fine if they want us all to go out and buy new gear then at least have it ready when the systems launch.

They are making adapters so we can still use our current headsets but those don't come out until 2014 either...I can't believe it either but it is what it is
